Yes, no-lynch is still an option once the power is fired. I did not explicitly remove that.

Maf secretary tells the assassin to kill candidate A. The maf assassin sends the order in as close to EoD as the GM will allow. Candidate A dies. Town now has to move to candidate B (now the only option), or vote NL (if such is allowed).
A mafia daykill lets them abuse that situation. A vig wouldn't have information like "they're both town" on a judged lynch (so it'd be less rife for abuse), though a similar situation could still arise if one judged-lynch candidate of the two got vigshot.
