Hi Connor,

We're full up now - but would you like to join the subs list? With 24 players it's quite likely that a replacement will be needed.

That would be great, thanks.

You asked for suggestions:
I think the day kill is too overpowered for Mafia. Town don't have a vig kill and Judge power is a bit useless.

So your suggestion is take the day kill out or add a vig?

I strongly disagree that the judge power is useless. A vig shot is certainly much stronger though.

The Judge role looks cool, you should keep it

...Can town vote to NL after the judge uses his power?

...how close to EoD can a maf daykill fire?

I'm seeing maf able to score two town deaths if the judge picks wrongly.

Let me clarify:

The judge picks two candidates. They're both town. Maf knows this.
Maf secretary tells the assassin to kill candidate A. The maf assassin sends the order in as close to EoD as the GM will allow. Candidate A dies. Town now has to move to candidate B (now the only option), or vote NL (if such is allowed).

A mafia daykill lets them abuse that situation. A vig wouldn't have information like "they're both town" on a judged lynch (so it'd be less rife for abuse), though a similar situation could still arise if one judged-lynch candidate of the two got vigshot.

If the judge pairs two towns together, the mafia can always kill two townies in one turn. What's special about them being able to shoot one of the townies up for a vote? If anything, shouldn't they let the two townies stay alive as long as possible?
Killing one of the townies confirms both of them (as the mafia would not shoot a townie if their partner were up for a vote), and even if this is done as close to deadline as possible to mitigate the usefulness of this fact, that's still giving free info.

I think taking day kill out is better. Maybe transform it to a power like Ninja (not be seen doing the NK) or another not so strong power.

Is there any reason you guys use Quicktopic.com instead of the PMs here or some other site? Is it just tradition?

Pm's are too confusing to read, its better to have them all in one place like in a qt instead of having to hunt through lots of PMs that fill up your inbox. We have used Discord instead of quicktopic for a few games, which I personally like, but some people don't use Discord as much, or they prefer the qt format. But yeah, mostly tradition I think. It works.

I don't think shooting one would confirm the other one. It's risky, but if the judged lynch is MvT, why not shoot the T for maximum wifom experience? The Judge has the power to limit vote options, but that doesn't mean his scumreads are right.

I like QT's because it's possible to go back and review old games, and what people said in godthreads/mafchats etc.
