Or can't you make this game lighter. I liked judge - it's power can still work even if mafia have equal vote power. But I have a slight, little, optional objection; some roles in mafia pool are like put to be put, I mean you don't have to make all scumteam PRs. This is optional but I'd recommend changing one or two into Goons.
I think forger could easily be goon. Janitor could as well, but I like having it to allow mafia to ensure a kill is not trackable by the FI. If I removed janitor, I would need to take FI out and replace with something.

I'll host M46 then - it gives me more time to hash out flavor/roles. The actual PRs used will depend entirely on number of participants - 20+ people will allow for the day kill assassin and the jailer kill to try to get the game going in a good pace.

So we need the answer the question.

Thank you worcej, you've got M46.

Brain's game is invite-only and 12 hour phases. Obviously if you want to play it, you should talk with him, but I don't think that that fits the bill for a traditional vanilla game. If anyone wants to GM a 48 hour day/24 hour night phase vanilla game, shoot me a PM.

Again, I want to be co-GM. I think I will miss some parts so don't want to be main GM. Can play as player if you can deal with it on your own.

Just a point of feedback to Worcej:

I really don't like setups where the death of one player causes other people on their team to lose their abilities, like " You have X powerz, but become a Goon if Role Y is lynched"

In my view this risks leading to a team collapsing quickly if they have an unlucky start.

I'm gonna design a game where everyone starts with a one shot gun and a one use vest.

When we say a vanilla game, are we talking mountainous (all Vts and goons), or just very light, like only 1 cop, 1 doc, factional NK and RB?

Usually on this site we mean very light, not plain.

I would like to try a super-vanilla game though. Maybe a mini-game would be better for a game without PRs because some mafias will really be undercover.

So if we want to use a yoghurt analogy - sort of like vanilla yoghurt (it still has some flavour) vs plain yoghurt (yuk)? And mafia with lots of roles is like yoghurt with granola and chocolate (the tastiest of them all)?

A lot of roles = A lot of bacteria
Complex games are sour yoghurt

I think that's fine. But I'd probably go with the same thing that ND did last game - each person can only do one thing a night.

My proposal or plan rather is to always just have mini games going that are fun, experimental ect.

big games take forever and theres a huge backlog of gms wanting to run them
