“Mister Secretary” the Assistant muttered “We’ve arrived”

“Very well!” Cabinet Secretary Wilbert Vekna said quickly

He stood up and straightened his business suit. Then he looked down at his tie. It wasn’t quite straight.

“You, assistant!” The Secretary barked “Come here and fix my tie! I’m the Secretary of the Navy after all!”

The other man walked over and straightened the tie. Then he looked up at Secretary Wilbert Vekna.

“Anything else?”

“Not at all, I have important business here at the base. President Truman wanted me to come personally. My work is important for not only the government but our other friends in MJ.”

“Of course” The assistant said

Wilbert Vekna nodded to himself and then started towards the plane door. Before he could reach the door however. He heard a loud noise and then everything went black.

Outside the Base Superintendent watched in horror as Cabinet Secretary Wilbert Vekna’s plane exploded on the runway. That’s when he noticed a group of pickers fiddling around with the gas refueling line to the plane.

“What is going on!” He screamed “Get them!”

The Dreamland base security forces sped off towards the pickers but it was too late they had vanished into the sunset.

Apparently they were trying to siphon gas for their RV and someone was smoking a cigarette. That’s what the official report said, but maybe the pickers and members of the town just didn’t like Cabinet Secretary Wilbert Vekna and decided to blow him up. Either way, he’s dead.

1st choice ghug - Quas went ballistic when he heard Ezio is alien, was a big pusher of his wagon, had used cunning devices to scumpaint me, then when called to attention, became submissive, after D1 + D2 turned mellow, transformed from a horse into a donkey,

I think someone stated that his latest comeback post shitting on this game was close to the timezone when percyval was shot

granted, he did look surprised and cleared Vernacular after his rb, all of us did so I can understand Neph

Done my Vecna ISO

Vecna loved Jamiet to bits, cherished him with all strength

Vecna called attention to Neph, implying he might be involved with the NKs, voted him D2

Vecna called me town many times

Rarely if ever spoke to Quas

Alien talk was most of his activity, also defended a bunch of townies

This is an interesting observation about Vecna not interacting much with LordQuas. I used the bot search to try to identify how many times the mafia members directly reference the five assassin possibilities, and here is what I came up with:

Although this is a small sample size for worcej and xorxes, it does seem Vecna interacted less with LordQuas than the other assassin possibilities, and worcej and xorxes had almost no interaction with LordQuas.

Since the mafia would want the assassin to be able to hold his shot until later in the game when the town PRs were revealed, bussing the assassin does not seem like a good idea, so I think the lower interaction with LordQuas among the mafia is consistent with LordQuas/ghug being the assassin.

Another interesting thing to note is how much interaction the mafia had with Jamie.

If I die more benignly, lynch dargo D2 and then resurrect me N2. We can do the alien thing D3 and we go from there.

Don't lynch Vapor, Bozo, rivera, Vecna, Squigs or Jamiet tomorrow.

Counterwagon to dargo could be Moscow, Percy, worcej. Maybe Neph but now he's looking a little better.

On D4, Nephthys is the only player that did not post after Percy claimed Medicine Man, so Nephthys as assassin would explain why Percy was not shot D4 after he claimed.
