OK, I'm now thinking Ezio is the alien after all.

I don't see any chance he has the ray gun as mafia, claims it, claims alien, shoots the gun N1 killing one of his own (or a townie that could have been an easy lynch). It just doesn't make any sense at all. Yes, he can do wild stuff for the team, but with some logic behind it. Getting all the attention for two days with the result of two dead scum is just not a good trade off in any universe.

If he is town, his play has been attrocious. I could understand claiming alien as a reaction test, but maintaining the claim until 30 minutes before deadline, with a confirmation of the claim in between is less believable. And when you add the complete waste of the gunshot on someone that we could have lynched and gotten info from? You have a gun designed to be used on a confirmed scum and you waste it like that? Horrible play if town, and I want to think Ezio knows better than that.

That only leaves alien. It's still hard to believe, but we have to go with the most obvious. He got a shitty role, one that was bound to be caught by the vote mechanics, and so he played as best as he could trying an alliance with the town which doesn't really work because he has nothing to give us.

My guess is he infected dargo before killing him, so that he won't get caught by the D3 plan, in which case we would be wasting a day if we waited to do that for confirmation. So ##VOTE Ezio

That's one of the possibilities I was thinking, I don't rule out him being scum because I am not so certain Dargo was scum, what I see is a complete anti-town behavior, be it scum or Alien.

"Scum" covers both mafia and alien, so what I'm saying is that I can't see him as being mafia, but I now see him as very likely being alien. I still think at this point we should be hunting mafia, not the alien, and that's why I didn't think Ezio was the best lynch for today, but I'm pretty convinced he's the alien by now.

If you were driven with dargo, that means the roleblock was for him and Ezio meant to disintegrate you.

If you were driven with Squigs, the mafia tried to kill you and roleblock Squigs.

If you were driven with someone else, they should be able to confirm and the roleblock was meant for them, correct?

You mean, infected someone that wasn't Squigs or Darg? then yeah --- the thing is, I don't think it's revealed on flip if someone is infected, so if the alien manages to push lynches of their oldest infectees they can avoid being outed by the vote idea, or if they infect people they think will likely be nk's

and pretty sure that it says that infected town is town, there's no alignment changes at all, so if alien dies that's the end of it.

It is primarily from his effort at EOD to prevent Ezio or RagingIke from being lynched, I doubt scum would get that involved to prevent a town lynch or defend a teammate.

I really really hate such reasoning for town (or scum) reads based on 1 EOD

You have to base day 2 reads on something.

I hadn't thought about that. "The Alien wins when there is a majority of players infected." It doesn't say the alien has to be alive.

I see we're back to discussing whether Ezio is actually the Alien. Has some new information been revealed?

I cant work out whether or not this post really concerns me.

On one hand, xorx guessed that Tom was potentially lying about cop claim and that was one that people were pretty happy with.

What I fail to understand is why there no chance that he is mafia.

Darg was about 90% chance of being the lynch I would say, definitely above 50%, shooting him does one very important thing, it denies us information. Without information our lives are significantly harder, and this is something that a scumteam, especially one that are all being widely scumread would certainly consider if not carry out.

On the other hand, it is pretty unlikely, but still...
