The only way it doesn't work is if the night 1 infectee dies before EOD3. In this case we repeat day 4 and so on until he is caught.

When I first saw it I thought it may have been a way for scum to tell the assassin who their partners were, but I didn't really see how that would work and it would be too risky. What makes it bad vibey for you?

Alien Ray Gun disintegrates the target. It circumvents immunity. It turns the target into a puddle. If killed by the Alien Ray Gun the player can't be revived, no. It's the only item that will circumvent immunity/revival.

I'd like anyone who has time to comment on Ezio's claim that he is the Alien.

My theories are as follows, in order of likelihood in my thinking:

1. Ezio is Mafia and is worried about the Alien (b/c NK immume) and wants a rxn test to see if he spots the real alien.

2. Ezio is the Alien and wants to protect himself with the holy shield of WIFOM.

3. Ezio is shit town dicking about in an anti-town, anti-solving way.

If he is alien, this won't save him. He could be town or scum, more likely town but he has tried wild things as scum in the past so not conclusive.

And I -could- actually see Ezio just realizing that theres no real way around the proposed D3 plan and just full claiming hoping we ignore him for now and engage in a town vs mafia war where he ends up skirting by to a point where it comes down to us making a kingmaker-choice.

Fact is, we can already do that shit day2 if the items are truely random. I really dont see a way around it for the alien.

atm I'm tempted to believe in his claim, he hasn't shown any tendencies to fakeclaim for shits and giggles (unlike say, Atto or Brain) or even to troll (like ghug with his scum claim awhile back lol)

and if I read correctly Ezio also claimed the ray gun(?), which is leaning me towards the joking!Ezio theory--although it'd be amusing if rng did land the alien with the one item that can kill them xD

the first seems plausible, especially as there's a day chat, so just because he hasn't been here posting doesn't mean he's gone.

there's also the possibility that he's town and testing for alien, but no idea how effective that would be.

Jamiet tried to lowkey subdue the situation with you instead of pushing it over the top. I did not get the feel for that exaggeration that he often does as scum. It could be he just changed it up completely again from the last few games because its obviously not been working for him, but I do feel his shit is genuine this game.

If he was scum I feel he'd go completely gunshit crazy over the encryption shit for example, but instead he joined in on it.

I have a different view of his meta then. For me, town Jamie goes crazy and aggressive, while scum Jamie tries to lay low.
