Jamiet tried to lowkey subdue the situation with you instead of pushing it over the top. I did not get the feel for that exaggeration that he often does as scum. It could be he just changed it up completely again from the last few games because its obviously not been working for him, but I do feel his shit is genuine this game.

If he was scum I feel he'd go completely gunshit crazy over the encryption shit for example, but instead he joined in on it.

Different types of contradictory behavior.

Probably sounding like shit reasoning since with Jamiet it always comes down to those weird gut feelings, but im feeling pretty fine with my read.

I have a different view of his meta then. For me, town Jamie goes crazy and aggressive, while scum Jamie tries to lay low.

I find my read of Jaime to be a combo of both of your metas - he has a tendency to go more 'bat-shit' when he is town, but I don't think he lays low as scum either. Usually when Jaime is more 'solvey' do I think scum.

I'm loving his claim, it's the only unique and interesting thing that happened in this game so far

FWIW - My gut so far, with no working bot to do deep analysis:

- Squigs vs. Jaime was lackluster and didn't obv!town Jaime how I assumed it would. His play so far hasn't also been the obv!scum I've also seen lately. Already stated my Jaime opinion.

- Ike is being trolly, and seems to be the only one in troll mode, and more active than what I figured is a normal D1 for him. I almost hate to say it, but I miss Brain this game already.

- Ezio's claim intrigues me - I commented on it already. I believe he is more likely trollin

- Percy is pocketing people/votes without contributing until finally voting for Ezio due to his claim. NAI in first 24 hours, scum leaning later only on the basis of I think he's a newer player.

- Neph posted 3 times with his only real content being 'Vecna is scum'. I find the lurking from Neph to be above normal levels of lurk, but his scum play has yet to be lurking imo.

- Damo is engaged, but not propelling content. It feels more like commentary than anything else. I think scum!damo lurks more, so my first lean is towards town.

- Xorxes has been MIA for a bit, but nothing struck me as off either. Again, first 24 hrs = NAI.

- Vaporwave seems to be trying, but just seems off. This game is spam galore? Please... This is tame compared to other games.

- I like rdr atm. That's just my gut, which is usually wrong.

- Squigs vs. Vecna is weird and seems drawn out intentionally by Squigs. I don't trust my gut on reading Vecna anymore at all because I've assumed he is scum when he is town and been wrong every time. If Vecna was scum, I would expect deflection but instead he's confronting more. I don't know what to take from this exchange just yet.

- I also don't have a strong opinion on Einstein - his comments seem to be filling the 'brain role' currently, but he isn't spamming the entire time. I think he's trying honestly, so that makes me lean town.

This is actually a pretty awesome idea. Worst case scenario it forces the alien to not infect anyone N1, but that just means we can do it every day afterwards.

On the flipside, this is definitely the type of idea that scum will be even bigger proponents off, and likely to be more vocal in favor off since it will help them the same way as town, but also result in them no longer being able to waste a NK on the alien and be put in the awkward situation that one of them has to out to reveal who it is before long.

I'd like anyone who has time to comment on Ezio's claim that he is the Alien.

My theories are as follows, in order of likelihood in my thinking:

1. Ezio is Mafia and is worried about the Alien (b/c NK immume) and wants a rxn test to see if he spots the real alien.

2. Ezio is the Alien and wants to protect himself with the holy shield of WIFOM.

3. Ezio is shit town dicking about in an anti-town, anti-solving way.

so you've narrowed it down to he's one of the three alignments that are in the game, killer

Vecna is hard town, string of solving posts means he's legit trying hard here. I also like his reads about rd and emc since they were literally what I was going to say but he got to them faster than me

rd is also probably town but I don't feel as confident on that one, he's got solid reads imo and isn't letting players slide by with minimal content (like calling out emc for just saying its weird that damo isn't just later crocodiling)

emc feels sooo much lower energy then last game. Go back and read some of his posts, he's high energy, getting involved, lost on what to do but still trying. Now he's sort of lurking, doing commentary and insinuating stuff but not actually making pushes... add that his tone is just a lot less pure and he feels like he's trying to replicate last game as a wolf now

vapor is also super awk, and I REALLY don't like how he just strong town read ezio off that. It's so easy to replicate that either as an alien or a wolf and I don't think any town just is like "yes he's probably town from this" from that situation. On a side note I doubt he's alien from that either as he would probably want to at least keep the option open of pinning alien on another player

I think damo is actually spewed and probably just a lhf, I still don't think he looks GREAT but I can see how he was maybe just being awkward as hell start of game, and I've also tunneled him the last two games I think and he was town both times so uhhh

I forgot to talk about squigs but he feels towny in tone and progression (in that I can clearly see where he's coming from in most of his reads), but I also don't like where he goes with some of them (namely with vecna, and the way he backs off cause he hasn't read a vecna scum game, and his attempt at picking a fight with jamie was cool but he also did it in a really lame way and didn't capitalize on it? stuff like that)
