On the box issue, I agree with the people saying that the real box holder never should out it. If the box holder says he has it, scum would know that he will get an item from it after the night, so they will NK him just for than reason the same night (It is the receiver that is protected by the box, not the sender). And the box holder should not say to whom he/she gives it to either, since then scum will target someone else instead.

I honestly thought it was pretty obvious. Most of the box items are by definition anti-scum. I imagine then that their strategy would most likely be to try to frame that person the following day(s), and have them lynched. If a scum was the received, they'd try to fake the framing attempt.

I'm not sure if I properly understand the function of the Oracle. It reveals your true alignment publicly? Isn't it a death warrant?

I dare to disagree. Mafia can count on two kills of town members per phase - daytime lynch and nighttime kills. A true townie would be permanently extruded from the pool for lynch voting, what statistically increases the risk for a scum being lynched. Logic tells me that mafia would want to restore the odds, thus they would immediately NK target a publicly known townie.

I am not saying he is contributing anything, but he is playing super obv!town based on his laser focusing and less calculated posts. He did this forever with BB a few games back and that's where I am deriving my read from.

Anyone disagree with me on that read?

Well, I still read that slot as a VT based on his earlier activity. Worse case, he gets mod-killed if no sub comes in and his alignment will be confirmed.

I do. He isn't a newbie. He is crazily aggressive for both alignments. He can easily imitate his town play. It's not too hard. Just speak about irrelevant stuff and be Jamie. You know him better than me, and you know it can be acting.

I don't follow this. I guess you are saying you think Jamie is scum and hope he gets modkilled but you'd like the security of a lynch in case he is subbed. Is that correct.

I don't think he would have run away so easily if he were a town PR (or scum PR for that matter). So I suspect he is either VT or goon.

Even if he is VT it is better than a mislynch of a town PR and he may well be modkilled anyway. We hardly want to lose 2 town.

Also I don't really like the wagons on Peter or DemonRHK.
