Do you scumread the bomb? what's the point in being so passive aggresive with him if you're not giving a clear stance

Clearly that was fake. Brainbomb knows very well that Ghug is fearless to the point of blind idiocy. In the last game, Ghug merrily got himself lynched to prove that he was a bigger troll than Vecna.
