The only reason the mafia would use the RB would be to try to RB the tracker. However, using the RB doubles the chance of the tracker tracking a scum if the they RB the wrong player. Did the mafia really believe Vapor is the tracker, and that he was going to track flash, and if so, that flash is the killer? I think it is more likely the RB claim is fake.

Nicely observed, but it doesn't change my theory all that much, because if you look carefully, you'll notice he discussed a smokescreen, yes - BUT he talked in general terms about using it to protect various roles including Cop, Doctor, and Divine Presence.

It was only after D2 had begun that he specifically narrowed this down to a smokescreen involving the DP.

I think the principle puts blinders to your own analysis and can bite you. I am a person that always questions intentions and apply them to the reality of the situation, regardless of what the person says. This is why I did not believe Fox or Hosuke until the evidence was compounding to remove all doubt.

TL;DR: people are always guilty until proven innocent for me in Mafia.

It just seemed early, especially mid D1. I would’ve phased him out EOD1 to at least give some sort of reasoning for the sub.

I agree with you on the inanity of that remark. Which is why I'm curious about how Worcej approached it. Because it was very much along those lines, and yet he didn't actually go for it. I think he set it up for someone else to pick up that thread and run with it, in the hopes of sending town on a dumb goose chase.
