The setup does not say "Cop". It says "Vanilla Cop".

A Vanilla Cop does not reveal the target's alignment, only whether they are a Vanilla or a Non-Vanilla role. This is considered weaker than a normal Cop.

In this setup both the Hooker and the Doctor return a result of "Not Vanilla".

The Mafia Goon returns a result of "Vanilla", as do the Vanilla Townies.

From the specific perspective of the potential copscans, that's pretty much accurate, Ghug, yes - except that the Doctor is self-aware, whereas a normal Miller usually isn't.

In the one game I played offsite that "started" at night, the cop just gets to perform a scan. No one was killed. I imagine cop can scan and hooker can hook in this setup and nothing else would happen.

No.

Talking during N1 will be permitted, and town PRs will be able to use their night actions during N1.
