Fall 1901. You are Austria and have an army in Serbia, a fleet in Trieste and an army in Vienna. Italy has Army Apulia, Fleet Ionian Sea, while Turkey has Army Bulgaria and an unit next door at Constantinople.

What do you do with Greece?

Is this gunboat? What is Russia doing? Why the hell does Italy not have Tunis? What did Turkey previously do with Con? What did Italy do with Ven?

Mercy, only the Spring turn has processed so Italy can't be in Tunis yet. The second Italian army is most likely still in Venice, as Ven-Apu with Rom-Ven isn't very popular.

My first answer to this poll is: Don't order a Southern Hedgehog.

Thank you, I realised that.

My answer would be to try for Greece myself.

Sorry for the lack of context, but the possible permutations are too many, so I chose a double-bounced Southern Hedgehog. The point is, Austria cannot take both Serbia & Greece, but it can choose the fate of Greece.

the situation is dramatically different if someone is in the black sea as turkey and russia are almost certainly at war. also a fleet in rum is pretty friendly to austria. has russia opened north? hell, has england opened to the channel thus taking pressure off russia?

i would almost never go to greece with the intention of taking it myself, turkey may well move bul-ser, con-bul. i may say to turkey that i will support them in and then bounce them.

it really depends on who is the most threatening, though i am inclined to be hostile to turkey.
