I've had two games

where the opponent resigned, and it looks like I only got my bid back and didn't actually win points. Is that because the opponent surrendered, or was something else going on?

ok nevermind, the issue was it was unranked and I wasn't payingi attention to that aspect of the rules. feel free to delete this.
