I really do hate how I consistently lose almost every 50/50 though....

Did get one here though. Wins are coming fairly consistently now that I know the optimal counter opening :)

I've played many games but I finally got a win!

The last convoy was awesome!

I scored another win, getting the hang of it with a specific A02 counter, similar to what Goldfinger mentioned.

Nice! Although I find that the bot will almost always cover Venice A02, so I've take to going to Tuscany instead of trying for it. But that fleet build in Marseilles really worked out for you! (with a little bit of luck)

16 wins by webDippers in the last 100 games played as France vs the bot:
three each by goldfinger0303, dipperjay, and MerryBBuck, two each by Djantani and Randaz20, and one each by christinaFeggy, michaelf77 and zultar

Compare this to

7 wins by webDippers in the previous 100 games played as France vs the Bot: two each by zultar, Djantani and dipperjay, and one by martinck1

Heroes all...

I think the bot has had it. Would be good to speak to the developers - tried send a pm to one but still waiting to hear back.

We need 2.0 I think

Thanks. I saw you play that a few times and it worked well. Frankly, my “Italy game” isn’t very good, so I tend to stay away from it. My thinking on Venice is that bouncing keeps my army in Pie, where it can be really useful. Most importantly, it also creates just that one tempo to get a Mar fleet into Tys in A03, which makes the Tunis play much easier in my view.

I agree, it’s definitely not superhuman anymore. Since I used the specific A02 counter, out of my last 7 games, I won 4, lost 2 and drew 1.

I get nowhere near those statistics against high-level human opponents...

Oh wow I looked at Christina's game....there were so many simple tactical errors by the bot that could've ended it.

Whoops. Well, currently both the bot and I are voting to cancel, and the game hasn't canceled yet...

Furthermore, I still can write in orders for all the old troops, despite only being able to see the ones that were just built. I wonder what will happen if I try to move them...

Now the A.I has forgotten about the units it built in Vienna and Trieste. This game is amazing.

Probably the worst game I've seen Fairbot play against me. A crushing win in 1906:

Do you have an opinion on this ?

In AvF, when F builds Army MAR in '01, should the Austrian Army TYR move to MUN or PIE in S'02 ? Fairbot often moves to MUN in this situation.
