Do you live in the Detroit metro area, or perhaps Windsor or Ann Arbor? Lansing? Toledo? Are you interested in playing face-to-face Diplomacy?

If so post here and we can get you added to our mailing list.

Detroit Diplomacy will host our first game at the Rust Belt Market in Ferndale, (9 mile and Woodward). They have a board game night every Monday from 5 - 11 pm. Our first game at this establishment will be Monday September 17th.

We will use timed rounds. 1901 will have 15 minutes per season. 1902 and after will have 10 minutes per season. This includes diplomacy, order writing and adjudication. Fall builds will last 5 minutes. I've set invite for 6 pm, (the game will most likely start at 6:30 - 7 pm). 4 hours of play will get us to 1904 - 1906 depending on play style.

Here's the Facebook invite:

If you're not on Facebook, just lemme know here.

Thanks!

Happy to say we had our first Detroit area house game last night hosted by Greg (eaterofcake). It was a great change of pace from the online games and would highly recommend that anyone who enjoys playing online to try to experience a F2F game at some point. We started around 8pm and played until midnight - making it through 1907.

It was a high quality game and sticking to the time limits allowed us to get many years in before calling it a night. We are going to continue to set up games in Southeast MI, so if you are in the area and want to be included in either the Facebook group or just want a message here when we organize the next one just let me know.
