'Joined' Date in Forum
I just returned to the site from a longgg break and I was wondering what the joined date that appears below every ones name in the forum is? It doesn't appear to correspond with the date that people first used the site.
Re: 'Joined' Date in Forum
I would think that too, but I haven't posted before today on the new forum and mine says June 8th...
Re: 'Joined' Date in Forum
After this new forum was built, at some point we created an account for everyone. That probably happened on June 8th.
Actually, on second thought, that seems unlikely since mine says October 3th 2017. So I don't know.

Re: 'Joined' Date in Forum
I believe this is correct. Anyone who "joined" before then was using the forum by choice while we tested it.

I would like to counter ghug's point by my case. I joined the forum by accident, I think. I just went on the forum and my account was there, voilá. Would love to be proven wrong however.

Re: 'Joined' Date in Forum
Magnetic24's experience seems to align with my own.
I joined several years ago, and even posted in the forum back then. I later disappeared for 4 years, and came back in August of this year, but didn't post in the forum until today. However, my "joined" date seems to be dated to August.

I’ve seen a few posts from people who left a few years ago and are just coming back now. Wonder why that isFishstudios wrote: ↑Thu Oct 04, 2018 1:46 amMagnetic24's experience seems to align with my own.

Re: 'Joined' Date in Forum
If I remember correctly, once they opened the new forum to the "public," the only thing you had to do to join the new forum was to visit the new forum.Magnetic24 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 04, 2018 1:23 amI would like to counter ghug's point by my case. Why didn't you sign up for webDip Valentine? I found a great date, until he cheated on me.

Re: 'Joined' Date in Forum
Why did the Romans have only one Date? Because apparently, it was enough Forum.
