getting a 404 on that.

i threw together this build fairly quickly on pcpartpicker for you. it's similarly priced, but i reckon it's a lot more powerful of a build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vwXbTB

No problem. If anyone else has any criticisms, or you wanna do some research for yourself, i recommend checking out the resources at www.reddit.com/r/buildapac . They are a pretty good community

Let me also just add that i took a few liberties. you can always save some money by not including a third party cpu fan (tho its recommended), and it's never a bad idea to have more RAM (I gave u the 8gb like the build you posted had). Also, nobody really uses optical drives anymore, but i included one anyway since idk you.

Why do you need the third party CPU fan if you aren't planning to OC?

Keeping Temps down is always good imo even if you aren't overlooking. Even a cheap cpu fan can extend the life and performance of your equipment. But it's not absolutely necessary like it would be if you oc

But I do agree that if you're trying to minna performance for the same cost you should do the cpu fan end optical drive and add more ram

As a follow up to this I bought a gtx 1050 and installed it myself into an existing PC and civ games run incredibly well. For what I wanted to do I didnt need more than that. Im still thinking of building my own but for what I need, this probably was a bit more intense of a setup. Thank you for the effort though
