Game processed too soon?

#1 Post by jerkken » Wed Sep 05, 2018 6:50 pm

Hi. Group of players new to your site. We play dnd together and thought this could be fun. So far the games been great but there seems to some confusion on how the site works. I have the game set for 24 hour turns. This current turn (fall 1901) turned after 17 hours. Everyone had completed their orders for the turn, although some folks were still considering. If everyone saves their moves will turns change over before the full time passes? We have players across the globe so we need to make sure everyone has time to converse. Thank you for the site and hope to hear from someone soon. The name of my game is Kenworld if that is needed.

If everyone sets their orders as 'Ready', the game will progress. You need to leave your orders as Saved if you want the deadline to stay at the set time - they'll still go through at the deadline.

I think there are sites these days where you can play D&D online. I've never tried them myself, but they seem really interesting. D&D has also been brought to the video game world multiple times (I think the best rendition is Baldur's Gate, but who am I to judge.)

Indeed! I play on roll20.net, but honestly all you need is skype or discord if you can trust the players to be honest about the rolls. One of my players streams and uploads my Tuesday game for an audience of like 3 but whatever. Here's what it looks likehttps://youtu.be/RLwxBctA594

Have you tried Divinity? It's like Baldur's Gate, but multiplayer! I'm playing Divinity 2 with a friend of mine. We each control two characters. It's great.

Divinity OS2 is amazing, a friend and I are about 60 hours in and not finished yet. The fact that the whole thing is voiced is just insane.

I took that perk that lowers the AP cost of ability related to the element you are standing in by 1 on my Lizard Pyromancer, so my combo is tp into the enemies -> supernova to set myself on fire -> every other pyrokinetic ability. It's fantastic:D

Oh, Baldur's Gate (at least the second one) is also multiplayer iirc. In my opinion the best old DnD game was Neverwinter Nights 2 though
