PM System

#1 Post by Tom Bombadil » Fri May 18, 2018 10:20 pm

Is there a reason that when you hit submit on a new PM, that it goes to the preview screen? Its messed me up a couple of times because there is a preview button, so I assume that if I hit submit instead it will go straight through. Instead it takes me to the preview screen. A couple of times now, I hit submit and then leave the site, and the PM never goes through because I did not hit submit a second time. Is this intentional or a bug?

That doesn't happen to me, I just sent you 2 test pm's, both of which only required me clicking submit once.

So it looks like it depends on how you do it.

If you go “player name” -> Send PM -> Sumbit - it goes right through

If you go “Private Messages” -> New PM -> Type in recepients username -> Sumbit it goes to the preview screen

Yeah, so that is what appears to be a rather stupid design decision by phpbb3 forum's. I'll look into what can be done there, but I'm not all that hopeful it'll be something I can fix.
