I started an ai game that is frozen in pregame. Started a second, and it is also stuck in pregame.

Currently WebDip is down. There's a message displayed over the site that says games aren't being processed until the mods fix the issue. This includes bot games. You'll just have to wait until the issue is fixed for your game to continue, I suppose
