A friend of mine is trying to register an account to join our game, but for the last 3 days all attempts to register an account result in this error:

SMTP server error: 5.4.5 Daily user sending quota exceeded. s20-v6sm2775835eja.9 - gsmtp

Please have him send an email to [email protected] and we'll sort it out. This is a known error which we're working hard to solve.

He might've sent an email already, but have him send another. We have a work-around.

The work around is waiting a day, which is a terrible work around.

We're working on actually fixing it.

I've provided the moderator team a work around so they can provide a registration link even when the error occurs.

Update: the workaround isn't working, so we're working on working around the workaround.

We currently have no open cases of people with registration issues; been able to provide all of them with an account.

I experienced this months ago too. But I don't remember I received this message.

Is this related to the current issues? We have some people waiting to register to start a new game, is there a workaround available or timeline on a fix please?

No, it's unrelated to the current issue. We have sent the problem to an expert, but he's very busy so we have no timeline. The holidays can't be helping either.

There's also no temporary fix. I currently can't create accounts either Please be patient.
