Unless your intent to to have everyone cross game negotiate? I think gunboat would be a lot simpler to manage...

Can you imagine the insanity of full press? If it's feasible, I say go for it 100% (again, if it's feasible. Probably a nightmare logistically.)

Full press is great, but you have to be active or you die. I mean, this is true for 7 players, but it's extra true for 34. Don't ever sleep.

Exactly. I’m interested but unwilling to sign up with the open-ended time frame, when the game attempts to get going I’ll speak up if it works into my schedule at that time (if I’m needed, and if not that’s fine too).

Did you know that new players on vDiplomacy can only play a maximum of two games simultaneously?

Put me down in the same category as MadMarx. I may have to leave if the tournament starts October through December, but given that this thread was started in April, there is a decent chance that the games will start after that window.

It is my understanding that once this thread gets to 34 the generous moderators will replace World Diplomacy IX, which is a terrible variant, with Chaos.
