How could you forget, there was only five of us? I couldn’t keep track of the revolving door of GL substitutions, but very nice of you to let every man, woman, and dog in the region get to each enjoy a couple rounds of tournament play.

Unfortunately one of our team members had a rather serious real life emergency and I was at that point the designated sub and had 2 family members dealing with severe medical complications so I was not able to sub in at that point despite being the designated sub. We of course appreciate goldfinger being understanding and I'm glad the topic is entertaining!

Yeah, I really wish I would have been able to finish the Public Press game. I'm glad the Public Press game got a lot of attention though, as it's a variant I'm rather fond of. Overall, this tournament has been the highlight of my Diplomacy career thus far, and I'm glad I was a part of it.

I didn’t even remember this was an actual thing. What’d we get?

1,000 for the winning team, 250 for everyone who made it to the finals.

It was never actually announced, but as a site policy all tournaments have a point prize these days.

Even lazy-ass captains that didn’t even play get 1,000 points?!
