Re: Fantasy Premier League

Much obliged, Claesar! I was about to do that myself but you've beaten me to it. Let the games begin!

On Saturday.

Re: Fantasy Premier League

#awks I had not realised that. I'm in couple of other leagues already, so I'm not sure if I can also have a drafted team? But yeah, it also strikes me that drafting is fundamentally different because it's more, "set 'em up and let 'em go", whereas what I'm going for is a bit more week on week manage...

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Precisely so. Sorry, it's not a pick 'em and leave it kind of thing.

To be honest, I thought that was how all fantasy football worked, which is why I didn't specify from the outset. Now I see that, possibly, I should have done so!!

Not to worry!

Re: Fantasy Premier League

I will just pick all Arsenal players (obv) and win the whole thing. Also, cdngooner, while you unfortunately can't pick all Arsenal players, you can definitely still get involved with the league if you'd like? To be honest, I'm thinking that we need a minimum of 5 or so players for it to have any s...

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Sorry, Claesar, I realise I wasn't clear. I'm just using the official Premier League Fantasy Football website - wasn't intending to draft, just run it straight from there. In which case, yes, we could all initially put in Vardy, but we'd all have to take him out again after we remember that he's Var...

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Cool, so that's two? I've made my team and can definitely create a league. But would always be good to have a few more than three on board.

Anyone else keen??

Fantasy Premier League

Anyone out there interested in a WebDip Fantasy Football League? Dual support of other powers

This is possibly a silly question, and actually one that I can't believe I've never come up against before, but can a power support armies from two other powers into the same empty territory ? For the sake of an example, see below (but let's not question the "should they do this?" too much - I'm mor...

Re: Anyone down for a 2-day full-press game?

I've no strong feelings about the settings to be honest - pretty happy with whatever, though I think Anon is usually a good idea (though I'm not sure any of us have played together before, so there's not masses of meta we could take from knowing who's which country...). Otherwise I'm easy! As for st...

Re: Anyone down for a 2-day full-press game?

I was just thinking the same thing the other day - would be great to get some full press diplomacy going again. Haven't done any in ages!! I'm in if you'll have me!

Re: Webdiplomacy Sci-Fi Simulator IV (Red Planet)

OK, this abduction situation needs to be our new priority. In the meantime, Gulam's suggestions for Moxie and worker allocation make sense. Regarding the androids, I think we should certainly try to get them onside - let them choose their own councillor but give them restricted access to Dreamspace ...

Re: Webdiplomacy Sci-Fi Simulator IV (Red Planet)

If we're cloaked, following the aliens through the wormhole to see what can be done on the other side, then I reckon the frozen planet, further from their gaze is the way forward. ##Vote Yea, Prop 1.3.2 I should have a full firewall up and running before we head into the wormhole, so hopefully none ...

Re: Webdiplomacy Sci-Fi Simulator IV (Red Planet)

I reckon the Mars moons are a bad bet - they're going down soon enough and at the moment there's nothing we can do to stop a weapon that size. I've watched enough films to know that usually, an incursion by a small force of dedicated fighters, backed by the element of surprise and exploiting the ene...

Re: Webdiplomacy Sci-Fi Simulator IV Signup thread

For anyone who is debating getting on board with this, I would HIGHLY recommend. If you've got a bit of time to commit to it, it's a lot of fun and always excellently run (many thanks in advance to Brain!!). Unfortunately, I think I have to rule myself out of this one, this time around. Still workin...
