That is, there might be a bunch of people with 3 games left to play...
I am one of them. I getting absolutely kicked as a newbie when practicing. But I mangered to grind out a win in practice. Somehow (even if I entered three tonight), I think the top twenty are quite safe :)

In my defence, SignalsEngineer posted in this thread that he had joined me ánd confirmed this in a PM. I reminded him to let Temasek know, both in this thread and via PM. I will not accept responsibility for his failure.

I am not sure if I should let the fleet take St Petersburg and keeping being aggressive in central Europe - or rush an extra army back. I ...

Phase 2 rule:
Players may not friend players that they were in a coalition with during phase 1.
Well the good news is people. I can be friends with all of you.

Can we be friends ?
I will reciprocate.

Upvote this post the most and I will join the either any random “Solitary” Coalition or the “Gamble” Coalition which gave me the least number of upvotes.

Bloody hell backstabbr.com is wonderful to use in a game.

At what point can I ask/comment on a "Classic, Anonymous players" in a forum ?

Re: 1st Game Played - Reflections and Questions

Cheers Claesar, the only game I am active is paused. So hopefully (apart from me trying to keep up with a 5 min/turn game last night) my reliability should be high.

Re: 1st Game Played - Reflections and Questions

Brilliant replies - thanks all. mdrltc - Yep, there was a great move by Russia that closed all my retreating options. I need to think that a retreat can even be a (useful) extra move. Naked - Good point about "nothing nice to tell you" Did not think about that reason. They may have been "Diplomatic"...

1st Game Played - Reflections and Questions

So I have now played my first game of Diplomacy ever. (Ignoring the four completed 1v1 and one 1v1 still on going). First impressions - I love it! I would say I am a moderate board game player, about 1 day per month. I heard the stories of Diplomacy play and always wanted to play it. Don’t know why ...

HI Mercy - I will keep an eye out for that game. I got excited before the replies and joined this game. http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=244327 I guess it will not finish in 14 days. My reliability may take a hit. I going to kick off a game with tobieee911 (4 game multitasking!) Thanks All.
