Re: Bristol shows the way

Maybe, you transform the Executive branch into a decentralized cabinet. Secretary of State sets foreign policy agenda, Transportation does their jam... Either nominated by Congress or positions are elected by popular vote every two years. I think it would be a great idea!

Re: Bristol shows the way

An interesting thought. It wouldn't work here in the United States at a Federal level without term limits placed on Congress. You'd have the same people running the country for decades. The Executive branch also controls cabinet nominations, foreign policy, SCOUTS nominations, and so on. Still thoug...

Re: Joe Biden sworn in as 46th US President

Can that be true? A real failure if so. My understanding is that the elderly vote Republican and die from Covid. So managing to kill more young Democrats means they have been put at risk, forced to work, commute, and study in unsafe environments, to prop up the profits of a few billionaires. I woul...

Why is the pot not decriminalized? I demand that more important matters be put on hold immediately.

Those former wall builders and Keystone XL Pipeline employees are gonna need a little pick-me-up after losing their jerbs. HE TOOK THEIR JERBS!

Re: What colour are Dargorygel's eyes & why do we never see Dargorygel & Xi Jinpeng in the same room?

My current working theory: Das Urkomisch Ausglassen Dargorygel is actually anti-matter Xi Jinpeng. If the pair were near one another, they would begin to orbit one another, resonate, and then end the galaxy in a brilliant explosion of hellfire. Count your blessings they stay thousands of miles apart...

Trump's potential revenge?

https://news.yahoo.com/trump-considering-starting-patriot-party-032833716.html The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Trump is considering creating a new political party. The "Patriot Party" would essentially be centered around his "America First" policies. I am 100% behind this. I don't care tha...

Re: Vids from Parler

As many phones as I saw in random pieces of footage, I would think there would have to be more somewhere. Perhaps on other apps/sites as you suggested. I'm kinda disappointed this is all they got in terms of video. I know they saved more posts that allegedly incite/call for violence. Any idea where ...

Re: Vids from Parler

From what I understood, the data was in raw form when they hacked into Palor. Maybe there will be more videos/pictures/content down the line, or is this it? Sidenote: It was dumb to deplatform Parlor, unless Amazon was worried about being held liable for hosting the app. Now extremists are moving on...

Re: Can You Pass A US Citizenship Exam?

The actual civics test is not multiple choice everyone! It is an oral examination and you have to *fill in the blank*

The real 128 possible questions (and answers) can be found here:
https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/2020test

PDFs are near the bottom of the webpage.

Re: Can You Pass A US Citizenship Exam?

I got one asking what Benjamin Franklin was famous for wrong because the question writer had erroneously omitted being a traitorous cur from the choices. I don't know if the actual citizenship tests are multiple choice everyone. Remember these are practice tests, but well done regardless!

19 out of 20, because I went with 6 years for how long representstives are elected (that must be senators) instead or 2 years.

Does every rep get elected every 2 years?
Yep. US Senators are six year terms, Reps two. The entire House of Representatives is up for election every two years.

Can You Pass A US Citizenship Exam?

A Representative from my home state has introduced House Bill 2039, which would require students to pass a citizenship exam to get their high school diploma in Kansas (like the one immigrants take to become citizens of the United States). Click the link below and see how many you can get right! The ...

Re: "IT'S THE MEDIA!"

While I understand your viewpoint and agree with it on some levels (those pushing unsound ideas are part of the problem), I place a larger share of the blame on people not actually being interested in the truth. It's a repeating theme in history.

We ought to know better by now.
