The double elimination Conundrum was the other one I did which was also great.

Re: Diplomacy Logic Puzzles

The diplomatic pouch. If you go here and scroll down (or ctrl+f) to the Sherlock Holmes section they have some good ones. The Double French was one that was posted on webdip around Christmas time I think that was great. I have only done I think two of these though.

Trying to play a private game with friends, is it an option so that everyone can pick their own country?
If it's a private game you can email the mods and request to have countries assigned that way

Re: Alternative Counter Set / Sprites

Anything is possible with enough dev work. However, we are currently spread a little thin on dev stuff. If you have experience and would like to contribute, we always accept new devs. You could also submit a request for this on our GitHub page where it would be easier for us to track. Unfortunately ...

Re: Game Theory Games

Hello, Again, I am posting this late at night, because I was too excited about the results to wait. However, I do not have this weeks game quite ready, so that will have to wait for a little (hopefully I can get it up within 24 hours). First off, lets start with some interesting tidbits, player insi...

Re: August Ghost Ratings Published

Rulebook press is incorrectly being counted in the Gunboat category right now. That is going to be fixed at some point, but is probably the cause of the discrepancies you are seeing.

Re: August Ghost Ratings Published

" DSS/SoS, Classic Map, Full Press, Non-Live " is WAY too wordy. After having owned the top of this category for majority of going on five years, it's time to just rename it as VI Diplomacy . What do we think? 8-) *struts* Actually the wordy title is also incorrect because it doesn't actually filte...

Re: Game Theory Games

I think it would be very interesting to know how everybody chose where to build, and of course what would have Squigs44 choose, and why :-) Even knowing where everyone chose, it wouldn't have mattered where I went, I could not have won. A Berlin might have been my choice though, or A Paris. When fi...

Re: Game Theory Games

Should've actually gone to con, i guess :) Also, the winner of the game is the one who gets the most solo's? Maybe there should be two winners, whoever gets the most solos and whoever has the highest average expected solo rate? Might be more complicated than it's worth, but for an extreme example, ...

Someone suggested a secondary contest of guessing the winner's solo%. I'll take guesses for anyone that wants to do that as well.

Re: Game Theory Games

Do I understand correctly: In your simulations, I will be entered into 1,000,000/p games, where p is the number of players. In each game I'll have 6 random opponents. My preference will be pitted against each of those 6. Then each game is simulated and I may randomly win with some skewed odds. Yes....

Re: Game Theory Games

Here is this week's Game Theory Game: Let's Fix Squigs Gunboat Woes Note: The following scenario is purely fictional. I have recently started playing some gunboat games, and I am a bit disappointed. I keep getting assigned to play awful countries, like Russia. Being a dev, I decided to do something ...

Re: Game Theory Games

Well, the deadline has past, and I am going to be busy tomorrow morning, so I am going to post the results right now! It was interesting to see how things shook out, especially since I did not know that so many people would be participating. We had a total of 21 participants in this game, which made...

Re: Game Theory Games

A little over a day left before the deadline on this one. I notice some people who have +1'd my posts that are not participating and some people who are participating that have not +1'd my posts. Neither of those should be happening. Everyone should be giving me +1s and participating.

Re: Game Theory Games

Entries keep coming in which is pretty exciting for me since I do live score updates for myself. The Riddler often repeats some of its competitions, but has a gap in between them, so we might repeat this one in like a month or two. I already have next week's all planned out, and an idea for the foll...
