Having read the report several times, it was a storm. I was genuinely blown away by some of the discoveries. Looking forward to Mueller's testimony y'all?

Some great legal analysis here, including limitation placed on Muller by the fact that he was investigating a sitting president : https://youtu.be/f71Rasj_0JY

Trumptoad claims the Mueller report completely exonerates him, yet has used executive privelige to suppress the report. Nothing to hide ?

Remember that all we have right now are four pages written by the Trump-appointed Attorney General. We don't really know what's in Mueller's report yet.

Also, it seems like the investigation made a profit from exposing tax fraud, not from "fines and fees".

The role of Barr has been remarked upon by former ethics lawyer in a Bush administration who argued that as Barr had written advice memos for persons in Trump's administration related to the Russian interference & alleged conspiracies before becoming Attorney General, that Barr should have recused himself.

Is the "Russia is the supreme evil" narrative still being pushed down there?

what a shameful waste of time and money with no climax.
This was actually profitable in the fines already paid for convictions and guilty pleas exceeded the cost. Which is better than most recent Trump business ventures.
Making a profit off court fines and fees is awful, and states that are pursuing criminal justice reform are moving away from the practice.
I never realised that this practise had got sufficient attention to be “reformed”. “Criminal justice” appeared to be descending into racketeering at one point (from my outside observations).

But look at all of Trump's legal costs for exposed corrupt business practices of him and his family. He's already cut back on paying for friends and business associates with refusing to continue paying for Cohen. He never paid for all the arrested Trump supporters that violently attacked press and protesters.

He lost his illegal charity when publicity showed that it wasn't registered to operate. He's lost or having places want to remove Trump name and management. Having to remove merchandise from sale for illegally using the presidential seal.

I don't know, I suspect Trump has made more money from his latest business venture of Potusing... Secret service paying him to stay at mara largo? Foreign 'influencers' paying to have meetings with him... Lots of room for money making there (though the tax breaks probsbly help too)

so uh, theres no new indictments and there wasnt actually collusion.

fascinating.

okay, why did the media hype this thing up like this was gonna be the unraveling of trump
Why did the media do what now? Um... Cause that is what they get paid to do?

And is that the conclusion? No collusion, only lies about business interests in Russia, which then candidate Trump had?

Also, I am assuming you can't indie a sitting President, you have to have Congress investigate.

Trump appoints a Dr. Feelgood candidate that supports his views while getting it completely wrong about the economy. Moore gave the bad advice that wrecked the Kansas economy and now can do it nationwide.

Everyone in the Trump family and friends that hasn't been indicted are celebrating. Some are considering moving to extradition free countries before the New York federal office starts indicting.

Here's a good bit from Barr's letter to Congress:

>> In addition to this notification, the Special Counsel regulations require that I provide you with “a description and explanation of instances (if any) in which the Attorney General” or acting Attorney General “concluded that a proposed action by a Special Counsel was so inappropriate or unwarranted under established Departmental practices that it should not be pursued.” 28 C.F.R. § 600.9(a)(3). There were no such instances during the Special Counsel’s investigation.
