Trump denounces his campaign contributor he had pushed for border wall construction after a private section is found to be defective. No comment on the public sections Trump got the company (see post 2 above this one).

In this time of a national emergency with COVID-19, Trump is still pushing an expensive paint job for his failed wall:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-report ... 00087.html
Because bare metal in the hot sun isn't hot enough for Trump. Maybe while he was in Arizona, someone should have walked him through a parking lot and let him find out by touch that car color doesn't make that much difference.

Trump pushed to have a wall contract awarded to a company whose owner appeared on Fox "news" shows and has given millions to Republicans including $1.75 million to a Trump PAC. The company had been rejected by the government for violations of environmental regulations in previous contracts.

But Trump is waving government contract rules for competitive bidding, environmental regulations, talking to Indian groups that own the land, and companies that aren't allowed to bid because of fraud and other illegal activities on previous government contracts.

The cost for getting past Trump's new beautiful wall has dropped to $5 for rebar ladders that blend into the wall's color to make them harder to detect.

Meanwhile Trump wants to take more money from the military budget that was suppose to go to repair military bases, help soldiers' families, and in general actually protect our country.

Religious Freedom only matters if it's white evangelical Christianity to Trump. If it had been a church, would Trump build a border wall through it?

Well Trump wants to go through a Catholic chapel, but they got to fight it in court.

Master builder Trump hired a shoddy construction firm that failed to brace the new wall they were building until after it started swaying in the wind. So 130 foot section fell into Mexico. With contractors like that how did Trump ever get anything built?

Going on the shoddy wall effort, Trumptoad is looking like a clown who couldn't even get a certain service in a particular type of establishment (red light outside) even if he did have a fistful of $US 100 notes

Latest is that the Big Dummy Donald is putting out bids for $300 million in quality assurance testing for his new built flawed walls. The problem was that Trump's vanity project had no specification on minimum standard for what it would do and the test walls were not subjected to testing to see if they did more than look good.

Now if this had been a Trump building, he would have not paid the contractor since it "wasn't up to his standards and wasn't what he wanted." But with our money, he just wastes it instead of using it for military contracts that were needed to protect our lives.

Trump's monument to wasteful government spending is so poor that a $100 reciprocal saw from the local hardware store can cut through it in minutes. After wasting billions of dollars, we will now have to spend more to keep repairing it.

Don't think the builders will have to pay for it since Dumb Donald approved the design without having a bid specification. So he agreed that it was acceptable and beautiful with no minimum standard that any other government project would have to meet before getting a contract and payment.

Perhaps in a second term as POTUS, Trumptoad will Twitter rant about building walls all the way to Montana and North Dakota

Maybe Trump is planning to give New Mexico back to Old Mexico...
Probably after another city in that state joined the growing list that want reimbursement for security and having to give government workers paid time off in evacuated buildings due to a Trump campaign rally.

Trump has added Colorado to the list of states needing walls to keep those New Mexicans out. It's going to be beautiful.

Meanwhile scroll down to look at the border wall between the US and Canada that does nothing to prevent illegal crossings. It does nothing to protect us and in some places all it consists of is a box of custom forms and a drop box to place them inside for border crossers.

Eight year old girl climbs Trump's wall:

https://time.com/5694432/girl-climbs-bo ... l-replica/

Another climber did it while juggling one handed.

So Trump diverted billions of dollars spent by Congress to pay for national defense to save millions of lives for a fake ego driven wall that can't stop a child from climbing it. But Trump supporters can sleep at night falsely thinking they are safe from hordes of invading Mexican rapists because Daffy Donald tells them so.

Trump staff claimed border wall needed to protect most vulnerable point against terrorists. From Fox News interview the truth that almost all the 4000 suspects in the past year came by airplanes through regulated airports. Pnly 6 were from Mexico, so the wall would have been $1 billion per possible terrorist.

No wonder Trump's businesses had so many financial failures with poor allocation of money.

So why isn't Trump pushing for more money where it's needed and not paying TSA employees through the shutdown?

The above explains some of it. Trump can't force another sovereign country to pay for something they don't want. But as former Sec. of State Tillerman explained, Trump doesn't understand the law and what he can legally do.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/20/politics ... index.html

"And Tillerson, too, was stunned at Trump's seeming lack of knowledge about not only basic geopolitics but the rule of law. "So often, the President would say here's what I want to do and here's how I want to do it, and I would have to say to him, 'Mr. President I understand what you want to do but you can't do it that way. It violates the law',""

Mexico needs to step up custom checkpoints to stop the US from smuggling firearms into Mexico.

I'm confused. Why is there a dispute about getting the Senate to approve funds for Donald Trump's border wall?

Didn't he promise that Mexico would pay for it?
