I'm not aware of you being removed from this game? Another player would have been welcome. PM me if you think there was a problem?

Well played everyone.

I’ve been watching the game for some time now after I was removed from it. (Mysterious, eh?)

I knew that the scum team couldn’t possibly be Sheep/Yav because they were way too hostile towards each other to even be trying to throw us off the scent. I always thought Sheep was town, but Yav could’ve been either way to be honest.

I never thought of Worcej scum really until the last few phases when everyone seemed to be throwing around ideas about who Worcej could work with.

DrC played scum the best imo. While both scums survived the game, he managed to get townread by everyone, and have his opinion on scumteams listened to and taken into account. There wasn’t really going to be a win for town even if they did lynch Worcej, because DrC was not at the top of anybody’s list for lynch I don’t think.

Phil and Teacher get the “nice guy” award. You both seemed patient and calm with your posts, and that’s something I can really appreciate. It makes things far easier to understand.

Thanks to Jamie for GMing, and to the coaches for helping out.

and yes the site i usually play on has locked votes in lylo
I looked at a few games of sheep out of here, and in a game (he was dead though) I saw this warning: Your first vote is your final vote.
That's why I called GM.

Well, having played it both ways, I have to disagree.

None of those things improve gameplay Jamie. it improves the game in aesthetic qualities. night chat is demented and useless, and rarely helps anyone other than PR trying to leave evidence thatll just help their inevitable claims.

as for votes locking in lylo, it makes decisions more important in lylo.
randomized lynches on ties adds a fun element ive experienced in numerous games.

you dont have to like those rules, but man they are alot of fun.

ties = horse aids
long drawn out night phases with bloviations and nonsense = filler
votes not locking in lylo = zero reconsideration anyway

I went over to Mafiascum for a time. I believe I played 3 games. One of them was a game with 15 or so players. By D3, there had been 10 substitutes. The standard of play was very poor in all three games, and I was glad to come back here.

Also let's keep this going - why should there be a lynch if the vote is tied? If town can't get their shit together and select a clear lynch target, why is a tie not a reasonable outcome?

Have you ever run a game? Jesus.

meanwhile im literally told n1 "i like nonsense about you getting killed

nothing else because you clearly dont want feedback"
Well, it's true. You were being superior as all hell.

For me, I have to say that Mafiascum's mechanics are absurd and harm fun play. I didn't come up with the way we do it here, but why should votes be locked at Lylo? Why does that improve play? Why should town players have to spend the whole night phase banned from talking? How does that make it fun to take part?

i forgot that day doesnt end with just majority of votes on someone

and yes the site i usually play on has locked votes in lylo
In your view, do either of those things improve the standard of play? What is the point of those rules?
i mean im too lazy to list all the reasons but theyre at least much more helpful than whatever tied wagons means no lynch
