Correct. And a convoying fleet acts like its holding, so it can be supported by one or more neighboring fleets.

I'm pretty sure that England's convoy would go through. To stop a convoy you either need to bounce them from their intended destination OR if France could dislodge England's Fleet entirely.

Hi, just looking for a clarification on convoy rules.

in the example i wanted to check;

France has fleet in English channel
England has fleet in North sea
England has army in London

Army in London move to Holland
Fleet in north sea convoy army from London to Holland

French fleet move from English Channel to North Sea.

What would be the expected outcome? Would the convoy fail as the convoy was attacked? or would the convoy complete?
