Game won by Macchiavelli (2360 D)
10 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [USA]:lol...ya, i'm around there as well. Still havent played NE, India or Argentina...
10 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [USA]:personally, I think the strongest nations are India, Russia, Kenya, PacRussia and Quebec. Almost all draws include several of those guys
10 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Kenya]:I'm always in a game where Argentina, China, Quebec, or Kenya win.
11 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:I came in with a draw in one game as Europe and one as Ghana. I have a feeling that China won't be getting a win this game since he missed the first turn ;)
11 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:That being said Kenya, I'm pleased by your anecdotal evidence as it bodes well for the chances of you, Quebec, and I :)
11 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Kenya]:Well I guess we will have to see if that is true.
11 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [USA]:well, with both of you having vacant neighbours, it should be an easy go of things
12 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Near-East]:The Near East has undergone their Arab Spring, and are now under the control of a peace-seeking democratically-elected leadership. We are now looking for partners who will work together with us for mutual and peaceful growth in the region.
14 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 2001: [Europe]:*sniff* *sniff* smells the BS :-D
18 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 2002: [China]:I Kill For World Peace
18 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 2002: [China]:smoke em if ya got em
29 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 2005: [Pacific-Russia]:Let us use this chat more often, is it not civilized to use the world chat?
29 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 2005: [Pacific-Russia]:Plus, dont let the McDonalds spread! Obesity is a plague!
03 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2006: [Pacific-Russia]:I made USA so mad he muted me 0.0
03 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2006: [Argentina]:Wow lol. It's just a game guys lol
03 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2006: [USA]:??? no i didnt
you havent even sent me any messages that i havent replied to

you have your games mixed up there McD's
04 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:You can't receive his messages if you muted him.
04 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Frozen-Antarctica]:This game is anonymous. How do you know each others names?
04 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Pacific-Russia]:Kenya. I already know that. And what names?
04 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [USA]:McD's is reference to the mcdonalds comment he made earlier

kenya - yes, i know; i did not mute him.
he muted me, and then made his childish comment to make it seem that i was the one pressing the mute button

which is fine, if he doesnt want to message me in private thats no problem. i have nothing left to say to him anyway, his messages tend to be quite immature and he has a habit of lying habitually
12 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Europe]:Somehow I seem to have muted USA as well......not at all sure how I did it.....bt I just undid it.
12 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [USA]:there is a volume button under each players name where it shows how many centres we each have

hitting that button mutes that player
12 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Europe]:indeed. And hitting it again un-mutes them. Problem is, when you have a slow PC and you are frantically clicking things hoping the damn machine is going to spring into action, sometimes you click things without realising as the red mist descends.
17 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Near-East]:I vote that once Ghana's out, we all settle for a nice, equal 6-way draw. Who's with me? :D
17 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Kenya]:I am.
17 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Ghana]:I suggest than once Ghana and Near-East (only 4 SC) you Draw. The pot will be bigger :)
18 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Near-East]:5 SC, thank you :P
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:Man, this end-game could have been so much cooler if Europe hadn't given up. As it is, the rest of us have to just hope that USA and Argentina get bored on their way to splitting the map. Such is the destructive power of NMRs -- USA taking over Europe, and Argentina at the start of the game being given an entire continent for free because Brazil never showed.
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:Agreed Near East. Kenya has put up an incredible fight. Personally I'm up for a draw after Europe is eliminated. I feel all the players still on the board have clear staying power and deserve a share of the spoils
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:Between Brazil, Pac Russia, then Europe all giving up it's made this game less interesting as time goes on
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:I'd be glad to draw -- It's been a hell of a fight against India, who's clearly earned a spot. Kenya has been brilliant as well, and you and USA have clearly been dominant. If you want to keep fighting, I'd understand, but I've got my DRAW up and think it would be a perfectly fitting end to the game once Europe's out.
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Europe]:Well there wasnt really much I could do - after I got a lecture from USA for not talking, I began talking and then didnt get a response. Meanwhile USA was coming at me from the east and the west, and Argentina was keeping me locked out from the south. What else was I to do, turn on Kenya or Near east?
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:...you're kidding right? You haven't made a move since Spring '09. I'm not looking to exclude you from the draw because you're getting beat -- I think you flat-out don't deserve it because you gave up. Enlist help, talk to neighbors, make some moves and take some risks... don't just roll over and let yourself get trampled.
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Europe]:Perhaps you are right in accusing me of giving up too early...I'll accept that....but take the map back to spring 09 and tell me what I could have done? USA is ready to take West Siberia back and also looking good for Skandinavia, you have Turkey covered, and Arg is sat in the NE atlantic. I'm genuinely interested in yours (and anyone else's) thoughts, either now, or after the game ends.
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:I'm not sure on your relations with Kenya and India, but I don't have any communications from you after 2005. If you were that worried about USA's oncoming advances, you should have spoken up. I will admit to having spent most of this game (since I joined it) in tunnel-vision mode -- I over-extended myself against India, got bogged down trying to play against him and PacRus at the same time, got beaten back to my homeland, and have been struggling mightily ever since just to keep my head above water. Had you spoken to me and India and Kenya and tried to marshal a more unified resistance, I think a lot could have been done. At the very least, putting up a fight keeps USA from moving quite so aggressively, to the point where now he's got control of the entire continent.

I don't think you could have beaten USA -- you were bound to start losing units regardless. But the three of us have been individually doing a good job of surviving. Had we been working together from an earlier time, we could have made a lot more progress. And had you given it a shot, I think you would have given the three of us much better odds as well :)
26 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:(Sorry for the wall of text)
27 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [India]:I'm up for a Draw.
27 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Europe]:dont be sorry NE I appreciate your thoughts
27 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Kenya]:I don't think USA is going to draw with us.
28 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Europe]:He may do. He won't click draw until I am properly gone.
28 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2013: [Europe]:....which I now am after just confirming destroy orders!
28 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 2013: [Europe]:Every game a learning curve....I have learnt much, esp from Near East and USA. Thank you , people.
30 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Near-East]:USA, what are your draw conditions? Everyone else is interested in drawing currently -- are you waiting until someone in particular is eliminated, or are you against a draw in this case at all?
30 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [USA]:my normal draw conditions are stalemate lines
I dont see that anyone except argentina can build any of those, possibly kenya if he starts playing more tactically sound game
30 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Near-East]:Alright, rest of the world, USA has just declared that he won't draw until/unless we form up a line against him. I suggest we all work together to do that, or he'll solo.
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Argentina]:Wtf! ok Near East & India you got your wish, it's an all out war on USA :)
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Argentina]:Not that I blame you USA, it was clear you were going for the win (and again I would have in your shoes as well) :)
03 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:Why are we playing and not drawing? 10 turns ago was the time to actually start working against the US. The game's done, and I think I'm done too.
03 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Near-East]:We're playing because USA wants the win, and we're in terrible position to prevent it. If you wanna give up, I'll be glad to take your SCs :P
06 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Argentina]:GG USA, nice win
