31 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Ha. don't worry about me. I'm allied with Russia!
31 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I will support you into Antarctica.
31 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Just let me retire in Syberia with a gun and one bullet.
31 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I definitely think we should secure another player for the next game though - the problem with having a dead account is that you can't place it in the most neutral area on the board. there's a reason why the rules of the IRL game say that specific countries are empty when there's only a certain number of players.
31 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Agreed. Maybe we can start the game at a particular
Time that we all know about with no pw. Then we can guarantee we all
Get in but it also allows for new players .
31 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm away for the weekend, kids. Have a good one!
31 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Again, if you guys could pause, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll CD, and that's no fun at all...
31 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Everyone needs to pause now
31 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: we're all paused except russia!
03 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm back. many thanks!
04 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Feel free to vote unpause when you're all ready...
04 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Ready up Fraustriance!
05 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Bengayman!!
05 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Has anyone heard from France recently?
05 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: France is a teacher and doesn't have much 'net time during the day.
05 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Actually he left his phone in the car
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Keith doesn't get to play next time.
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: France?
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Goddamn it Keith, don't you get a lunch or monkey-spanking time?
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: CD here we come...
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: If he CDs, I say we draw. We're already a bit broken due to the Russian Neutrality (which affects game balance), and if France goes, the game is waaaaay out of whack.
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1904: CD here we come...
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Aww snap.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Now that he's gone CD he can't reengage, can he?
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: He technically has to miss one more turn, but at this point, he's done.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Pardon my ignorance, but what does "cd" actually stand for?

Coward/deserter?
Cynical douchebag?
Cock Dongwopper?
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Civil Disorder.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: lol that sounds about right for lands controlled by Keith.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: sorry lads. im back in.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: sorry lads. im back in.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: sorry lads. i'm back in.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Aaaaand now England's gone missing...
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sorry. late meeting last night.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Are we going to have to wait all day for Keith to do a simple retreat?
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: You'd think that France would just automatically retreat...
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: are we drawing?
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: no.
06 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: yes
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Yes
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: seriously?
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: I say Yes. The Russian neutrality was unbalancing...
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: But that will always be the case if we have a bot, won't it?
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: In the formal Dip rules, a six player game has a neutral Italy. A neutral Russia overwhelmingly benefits Turkey, Austria and Germany, which is why it's not played that way.
Five player games have a neutral Italy and Germany. 4 player games are played with large sections of the map unplayable.

Again, I'd discourage the use of a bot, and find 7 players. I knwo a couple in my hometown that are good Dip players, and a lot of fun to negotiate with. Even if they are bastards ;)
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Ahh. True say Sandy.

I think having no bots is best... and the more of a bastard a player is, the better!
06 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Agreed.
07 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: uhhh, guys?
07 Sep 12 UTC Spring, 1905: agreed
07 Sep 12 UTC Is Germany the only holdout for a draw?
07 Sep 12 UTC he may not have got the memo yet.
07 Sep 12 UTC i texted him.
