29 May 12 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:Hey everyone! I know this first turn is a long time coming so I hope everyone's used the time wisely to conspire against at least ONE neighbor. I know we've got some friendly faces in the frozen far north but maybe the tropics of Africa and America will prove more melodramatic.

From the land of kangaroo barbecue,

31 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Oz]:I see six different powers two turns away from Mexico. If you guys are all busy, I can just nip in there and take it off your minds.
31 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [USA]:We don't want you traveling so far just to get one little SC. One of us will take it.
31 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Ghana]:It's not about taking it as it is about affording to keep it. :)
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [USA]:Quebec, since Western Canada betrayed me, I will make one last push towards him before I die. I will not be attacking you , so you will be unopposed in the eastern North America. I am also helping you so you can defeat him.
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Oz]:Russia's being given centers left and right! PR hands him a few centers, then Q gives up on Godthab. And he hasn't even taken the gift of Scandinavia yet!
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Libya]:Sketchy.. and the world is against me, so I'll ready up my nothing moves. Have fun.
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Near-East]:USA - dont give up yet buddy! The game has just begun.
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Near-East]:Libya - the world is against you because you made overtures and then stabbed your new friends in the first year. Not just slippery, but fickle!
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Oz]:Even if they were, does the diplomat fight till the death, or pout like a child in the corner?
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Libya]:Oh, I know, NE. I made a mistake in who I trusted. I've been around, I understand that. I messed this one up ;)
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Kenya]:Hey I did exactly what I said I would :P
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Near-East]:While Id love to claim knifing Libya, I also did as I said I would
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [USA]:I'm not giving up, I just can't get anymore supply centers. I'm going to make one last final push to get some.
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Kenya]:You go girlfriend!
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:Libya, you bumped me in Algeria in the spring. So I figured I'd bump you back in Chad. :)
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Libya]:I said I would do that to try and ensure neither of us get screwed immediately. I also did what I said and left you to it and take Chad. Too bad that's too hard for people to get sometimes :)
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:Ahh, not according to my message records...you simply agreed.
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Libya]:This is what I see from you: "You take Chad and Ethiopia and I take Algeria and Morroco. This would begin our alliance? I go down the West Coast and you the East coast. We will also have to deal with Europe together. Sound like a good start?"
01 Jun 12 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:Exactly. And you agreed to that with no other stipulations that you claim to have written. Here is all you wrote after my message you quoted, "Sounds good to me. I don't know if I'll get Ethiopia or not."

Then you moved on Algeria without any word or comment. I wasn't surprised only disappointed. If I had not moved on it during turn 1, you would have taken it. So I decided your action nullified the agreement, bumped you in Chad, and look for other empires to work with.

So the fact is you were the untrustworthy one in all of this. You were the one who put your empire into its current build-less situation.
