Spring, 1901: Mentlegen.
Spring, 1901: Whoever got Austria either doesn't know that Austria isn't automatically out after two years or is just forgetful about these things.
Autumn, 1901: that would be the latter.
Spring, 1902: I'm getting a pretty good idea of who's who.
Spring, 1902: Yeah, all these NMRs are creating a pretty good idea in my mind as well.
Spring, 1902: Why did Turkey leave?
Spring, 1902: Missing too many turns in a row.
Autumn, 1902: And France is gone.
Autumn, 1902: Lol, France.
Autumn, 1902: GET BACK OUT FRANCE NO ONE LIKES YOU
Autumn, 1902: Don't worry, France won't last very much longer.
Autumn, 1902: great. | |
Autumn, 1902: :L | |
Autumn, 1902: Lesse now, as of builds 1902, we've lost Turkey completely, had France become screwed over, had Russia generally not do much of anything, and had Italy and Austria pretty much ruin their chances of winning unless something dramatic happens.
Autumn, 1902: Yeah, that's Bop alright. My suspicions are correct.
Autumn, 1902: Yeah I'm not going to try and make any argument about it since I know exactly who everyone else is already (more or less) and it hasn't really affected anything I've done so far.
Autumn, 1902: I figured out that was Bop on like the first phase.
Autumn, 1902: I think everyone did when they got my initial messages. I'm probably the person most likely to send out initial messages to like, every player in hopes of getting a jumpstart on early expansion. w/e, it's working, so I can't really complain.
Autumn, 1902: It was pretty obvious when you told me, "Don't attack Austria please" but I waited to confirm my suspicions.
Autumn, 1902: Well, it is true that Austria and Italy shouldn't attack each other until at least 1905, but I did have a vested interest in keeping you both strong early on. It is the kind of thing I'm wont to do, however, so. Ofc, it's too late now, seeing as how it's practically laid out how this'll end.
Autumn, 1902: don't attack Austria please.
Spring, 1903: ok i missed the last phase so i'm screwed
Spring, 1903: Au revoir, France.
Spring, 1904: Darn, should have gone with an army and a fleet instead of two fleets. Oh well, what's done is done, gotta make the best of it.
Spring, 1904: KILL ENGLAND BOP IS EVIL
Spring, 1904: Silly Austria, I've already proven you can't kill me1
Autumn, 1904: Oh, NOW Russia takes Sweden, three years too late.
Autumn, 1904: Also, Auf Wiedersehen, Germany.
Autumn, 1905: Why has everyone left?
Autumn, 1905: Idk, it doesn't really matter tho since Austria and Germany are pretty much dead anyway.
Spring, 1906: I always forget about these things.
Spring, 1906: also I was Smasher.
Spring, 1906: Yeah I figured that out.
Autumn, 1906: Three left. Let's go ahead and finish this, I'm ready for a new game with fewer resignations.
Autumn, 1906: As am I. | |
Autumn, 1906: Wow Russia, not doing anything with your fleet in Baltic at this point in the game, when you had an eleven center-each England and Italy attacking you on two fronts, and you wouldn't even take the one center you were guaranteed to be able to take?
Autumn, 1906: Honestly, I've stopped really trying at this point. All of these resignations make it difficult to enjoy the game.
Autumn, 1906: Also, I did try doing something with Baltic, but it didn't work out.
Spring, 1907: I don't suppose Germany particularly feels like coming in and filling out their last order so this phase can end, eh?
Spring, 1907: Well aren't you sassy.
Autumn, 1907: Great, a Winner-takes-all game. Just when I have a large amount of points.
Spring, 1908: Would now be a good time to reveal our guesses on who everyone else is, just for fun? Pretty sure I know who Italy and Turkey are/were, for sure, and most likely France as well.
Spring, 1908: England is Bop. Russia is Mario4Ever, I think. |
|
Spring, 1908: Italy is Nabber. Turkey was YoshiWaker. Russia is probably M4E, and I think Quizmo was France. NSM was either Germany or Russia, I'm still trying to reason out how I have the entirety of Germany and France without much of the either's help, so that's throwing me off.
Spring, 1908: NSM is definitely not Russia.
Spring, 1908: He was Germany then.
I'll guess that the final three are Bop, Nabber, and Mario4Ever
Well played, Bop. Well played.
Thank you. You played a close second, but it was winner-takes-all, and I did only need one of your centers to solo. Now, as for everyone else: Quizmo - Fell victim to an early attack from an England and Germany that didn't have worry about Russia at that point, so didn't have much of a chance to do anything Ralph - Fell victim to an early stab, found himself fighting a two-front war with no allies Nabber - Played quite well, fought well against Russia and Austria, didn't have enough armies in position to solo or prevent the solo Smasher - Missed a few phases, found himself under joint attack from Russia and Italy, never really had a chance to do anything Yoshiwaker - CD'd 1901. Not much else to say. M4E - Played well, realized a little later than he should have that he could have all of Turkey, fell victim to a joint attack by Italy in the south and England in the north, didn't have very many options after 1906. |

I think the only reason I did as well as I did was because everyone was inactive. But it's nice seeing all that green on the map. |
