21 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all! have a good game
21 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1901: You too, good luck everyone!
22 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Winner-takes-all, eh? I've not been in very many of these before. In your experience, do they play out differently than PPSC games?
22 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Not really. You can still vote for a draw and equally divide the winnings.
22 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1901: True enough. I just wondered if those were more common in WTA games, or if people were quicker to run for stalemate lines.
22 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Meh I haven't paid close enough attention to notice.
23 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Really? I'm voting to cancel.
23 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Of course you are, Italy. It's not easy being green. (in other words: bitch seat!)
23 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: I can see where he's coming from...
23 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah, it is pretty terrible being stuck on four.
23 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: I've won a game as Italy before. It required a quick push into the Atlantic, strong early alliances with Germany and England, and a convenient CD in the midst of it. I've also seen Italian solos sweeping through Austria first and going for full Balkan occupation in the early game. It can be done, and there are more ways for it to be done than if you're England.
24 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: CRAZY BALKAN ACTION! <3
25 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Welcome to the game, Russia!
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Do you have a peace treaty with Germany?
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Sort of. It just looks to me like it's quite difficult for Germany to attack the isle. Wouldn't you agree?

Thanks for staying out of the Mid-Atlantic for the time being. I seriously appreciate the security that gives me.

On another thought, I wouldn't at all mind helping you out a bit when it comes time to stab the guy...
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Stab the guy? Hasn't the stab already gone well underway? If you could maybe give me some support with a fleet or two in the coming years, it would be much appreciated. I think I'm good for now, but maybe next year.
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: The stab is set up, if you will. It isn't really there yet. I wonder if Germany is going to defend Kiel, Munich, or neither one.
28 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: or BOTH!
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Global chat? LOL OOPS
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: ................................................
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'm hoping you didn't just now realize this...
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: I seriously did. But oh, well. Sometimes it happens.
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: I once sent an elaborate set of proposed pregame alliance orders to an ally over public chat. I think it was for the Slingshot Juggernaut cooperative opening between Russia and Turkey.
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Public chat can be useful. If you are trying to stop a WT or Juggernaut, or just to spread misinformation.
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Like weapons of mass destruction
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: What's a WT?
29 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: It's a western triple. That is where germany, england and france lock each other up into an all game, no holds barred death struggle with each other exclusively leaving everyone else alone. A REAL western triple is the 3 above mentioned countries working together. Scary stuff, totally powerful. Need 3 absolute allies. Anyone know a stronger alliance
30 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Axis alliance might be better, mainly because I guess most people don't expect it.
30 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yeah, I'm a fan of the Central Triple. Big fan. Also a fan of getting Austria to take on Germany when I play France, but that usually requires a pretty clueless Archduke.
02 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: New Turkey!
02 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Welcome to the game, New Turkey!
21 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: there goes the great Turkey.
21 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: gobble gobble gobble
22 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: LOLOLOL STALEMATE LINE
22 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: (That French fleet in Brest was the only thing that could have theoretically broken my stalemate)
22 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: We'll see, yolo.
22 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: I may have a stalemate of fewer than 17 centers in the end, but I still am now absolutely guaranteed survival (which probably means survival into a draw).
24 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1908: Army Venice, you're my hero! Taking the Archduke down to zero!
24 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1908: (tune of Captain Planet, in case the reference was lost)
26 Apr 12 UTC AUGH. SEVENTEEN. ALLCAPS.
27 Apr 12 UTC good game all!
