Autumn, 1904: Fools' Day 2012
Autumn, 1904: Sorry gang. I am not trying to hold the game up, but am trying to figure out what I need to disband.
Autumn, 1904: No worries...it is part of the game.
Spring, 1906: | |
Autumn, 1907: Good game all!
Autumn, 1907: Good game France.
Autumn, 1907: hey no offense to the game, but arguably one of the strongest players on the map was just replaced. its all fine and dandy, but I'm just gonna quit this one. i do like when major players just drop out of a game and get replaced. it makes an entirely new game. sorry
Autumn, 1907: As much as I hate a country having a new leader, it does mirror real life on occasion. One administration's view or relationship with neighbors can be very different from the next government that takes its place. Besides, in the world of Diplomacy no one likes it when you just stop playing.
Autumn, 1907: Love the real life parallels in this game! Like the one we are experiencing right now, stop your whining E, and lead your people out of the obvious mayhem you have bestowed on them thus far... (nicely put T...)
Autumn, 1907: Not complaining. Just letting you know what I'm doing. All due respect, I don't play this game because it's like the real world. There are better games for that. Have a fun match and all though.
Autumn, 1907: As much as the heads up on the plan to go into CD is appreciated, I'm just saying if you enjoy playing Diplomacy on this site you should avoid CD at all costs. Too many and you get a reputation, and then good players will not play in the same matches as you. Think of the new German government as a challenge, reach out to the other players remaining, etc. After all, it is Diplomacy.
Autumn, 1907: Im am genuinely curious what other game is more like the real world than this? would like to try it out...
Autumn, 1907: The reality of battles on here are obviously implied, if you are talking about being at the steering wheel of a tank as apposed to the steering wheel of a country, well of course there are more realistic games out there in that sense... Please do tell...
Autumn, 1907: Danny Diplomacy (England) has resigned and gone into CD two other games, literally 25% of his games here. Basically when the going gets tough, Danny leaves. I highly recommend not playing with him again.
Autumn, 1907: 100% what I figured, thanks for looking into that, good luck in the future 'danny boy'
Spring, 1908: wow, you guys got me pegged. darn.
Autumn, 1908: No draw 'til the English are dead!
Spring, 1911: Gentlemen, let's Draw this thing now that England is CD.
Good game Russia and Germany. Maybe I will see you around.
