15 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1901: How has everyone not gotten orders in yet? We've had almost two days...
15 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1901: waiting on italy and germany
17 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy appears to be MIA.
17 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1901: UGH!
17 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1901: why on earth would you do 72 hour phases anyway?
17 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1901: We did all sign up... So... Hah
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: True, true. As a Diplomacy beginner, I appreciate the slower pace of this game. It gives me a bit of time to think and discuss strategy with my new found peers.
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: 24 friggin hours isnt enough time? lol
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yea... let's try to get these orders in a lil faster...
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: why did you goes join a 72 hour phase time if you want short phases, just asking
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: I like the time to safety net, in case I miss a day or so... but, I don't like every phase to take three days...
18 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah... work can keep me pretty busy. I prefer a slower schedule. It's a moot point really since Italy is MIA and we're pretty much tied to their not logging in.
21 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Yonder has taken over Italy.

28 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: i now know why the other players left. turkey cant seem to finalize his build
29 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1906: Welcome to our eternal struggle. It may actually be eternal. And I'm still an original to this game!
30 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1906: sorry everybody its just that i was gone and didn't want to pause because i didn't want to mess around with getting it unpaused.
30 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1906: fair enough
16 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: With Germany eliminated, and Turkey going into civil disorder after the retreats, I propose we pass a E/F/A draw.
16 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: Or maybe he's still with us. I see he logged it recently. Shrimpy, you still playing?
16 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: yes i am still playing. Sorry everybody for holding up the game, but yes i am back.
16 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: Good to hear that. But I think you missed two turns in a row, so it may put your country into civil disorder after the retreat. We'll see.

20 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1909: Are you guys ready to move on to a new game? I'm willing to draw this.
10 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1912: This is the kind of situation where we should be able to vote for a 2-way draw early, rather than playing it out until elimination. E/F are allied unblinkingly and going to go all the way to 17-17. It'd be nice to just end it now.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1913: shouldn't i get a build.

i have 6 sc
1-sevastopal
2-ankara
3-smyrea
4-constantinople
5-rumania
6-bulgaria
an only 5 units
1-army in ankara
2-army in smyrea
3-fleet in constantinople
4-army in bulgaria
5-fleet in albania
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1913: yes, you should...but you didn't leave any of your home centers open to build a unit.
17 Mar 09 UTC Autumn, 1913: oh ok i feel like an idiot now. thanks fo answering
27 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1915: hey, i am going to drop out of the game. Exams are coming up soon and I have a long fight ahead of me to win this. While i normally don't drop out of games, I can't be thinking about diplomacy all the time right now. sorry guys
27 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1915: Then we should draw in fairness.
27 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1915: The only fair draw would be E/F. Neither T or myself deserve it. But an E/F draw is not possible with the current system.
28 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1915: so what do we do?
28 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1915: My opinion probably doesn't count for much, but I figure we just keep playing and England probably wins.
28 Mar 09 UTC Spring, 1915: Let's see if France got any moves this turn. This might have been his last turn. If he is in CD, we should draw it. Everything will not be fair. But if I am okay with a draw solution in this game, why should anyone else find it too objectionable. The only other good alternative I can see is to finalize all of our units as holds until France is taken over by someone else.
