04 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: True, but then there's the risk that as the map balance starts to change some alliances might change - and maybe not for good :)

However, I do not like the reasoning behind MM's suggestion. We are not having a discussion whether to have a 5 or a 6-way draw. The "issue" was closed a long time ago - so let's not bring it back to life.

What we are discussing is:
1. Are ENG-FRA-IT ok to keep trying to eliminate you
2. Does TUR consider this a valid option
3. Who'd prefer accept a very safe and reasonably good exit, and who'd fancy to go for something more.

Sorry for being so direct MM - but you really have to stop throwing in this argument about GER - it is irelevant for everyone else but you two :)
04 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'd say my reasoning makes Germany, or at the very least, the hacker, a part of this game.
04 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: In that case then everyone was compromised. If you are going to use that as an excuse I think I have every right to share in the draw or at least have my bet refunded. We should have drawn the game immediately if people were so concerned about game integrity. Since everyone decided to play on you cannot now go back on that decision.

Drawing now for the reasons proposed by Russia seems to me a significantly worse transgression than Germany's altered moves.
04 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: I will not bring up the German again, even though I do think his actions are a relevant topic of discussion and even though I do think a draw that included the German rewarded him for his unethical actions...
05 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: No disrespect to the Austrian, but, for the record, his fate was sealed before the hacker incident...
05 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Thanks for your sincerely answers =)

13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sorry for being slow, guys, after rupturing my Achilles tendon two months ago I was a little bored lying around on the couch and I joined more games than I can handle, so I am dragging some out a bit to better be able to deal with everything... I also have trouble joining new games, I can't resist temptation every once in a while, just can't resist new excitement, especially when doing poorly in certain games (but I won't mention which games!!)... I think I need a therapist, but I hope to get a little self control soon and will speed it up, especially in here since there isn't too much for me to think about!! ;-)

(though I probably won't finalize until lunch, three hours from now... I'm taking baby steps!!)
13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: Yeah, MadMarx is stalking me in other games where there are CDs! :)
13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: It's true, I couldn't resist taking over France... Sorry about that, sometimes I join another game when one of my takes a turn for the worst and I'm a bit depressed and looking for new hope/life... :-(
13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: FYI - I'll be out of town wednesday night till saturday afternoon. I know I will have internet access, I just won't know when, so I may end up extending the game some, also.
16 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1909: How's that for faster order finalizing?! :-)
19 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: I always found that as the games move on, they get slower... this one seems the opposite...
19 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1911: The fewer people in the game, and the fewer people with any real options of what to order that are still (at least technically) in the game, the quicker it goes...
19 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1911: that didn't really make sense, but I think you know what I mean...
19 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1911: Yup, diplomacy usually becomes minimal in the end game - unless of course there is a major backstab.
24 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1912: Is there any chance to pause this game? I will be on a trip for about a week and it will be complicated to play (probably there is not going to be an internet connection). Everything will be easier with the pause (only a week), but if you think that is not correctly don't worry, at least is a 48 hours phase game =S

02 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1912: Well, I'm back. I have to thank for the pause, I know that the excessive use of the pause sucks, but it's a nice option in an extreme situation. In this case my trip appear after I joined my games =S Thanks one more time =)
