23 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1901: Any one care to explain the title of the game?
23 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1901: specificially the impact on game play.
23 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1901: Diplomacy is a game that realies heavily on what I just said, diplomacy. In this game it is crucial to talk to all of your opponents all the time to establish alliances, and usally it will lead to back stabbing.

That answer your question?
23 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1901: no I mean what is the meaning of "I love sluts". Is this just to help recruit
players or are alternate rules allowed? like say trash talk?
23 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1901: oh, I have no idea what the title is for.
23 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1901: the question is...what are our thoughts on said "sluts" why do we love them? and how is it relevant to diplomacy? BTW I hope I am not killing the buzz here by asking these deeply fundamental questions.
26 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: ldrut has taken over Turkey.
26 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1902: Great. I just joined the metaphysical game.
29 Jul 08 UTC Spring, 1903: GameMaster: rogi has taken over Germany.
31 Jul 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Henry Kissinger has taken over England.
31 Jul 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: We must all sing in honor of Dr. Henry Kissinger joining the game:

Henry Kissinger
How I'm missing yer
You're the Doctor of my dreams,
With your crinkly hair and your glassy stare
And your Machiavellian schemes
I know they say that you are very vain,
And short and fat and pushy
but at least you're not insane.
Henry Kissinger
How I'm missing yer
and wishing you were here

Henry Kissinger
How I'm missing yer
You're so chubby and so neat
With your funny clothes and your squishy nose
You're like a German par-a-keet
Alright so people say that you don't care
But you've got nicer legs than Hitler,
And bigger tits than Cher
Henry Kissinger
How I'm missing yer
and wishing you were here.
31 Jul 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: thanks
31 Jul 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: Next can we do the elements song?
02 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: youknowit has taken over Italy.
03 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1904: GameMaster: mapleleaf has taken over Austria.
03 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1904: I will not be automatically respecting all old arrangements. I urge any friends of Austria to contact me on my private tab, so that we may renew our friendship with a fresh understanding.
03 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: France and Russia - you are the only original players left. Your turn to drop. Keep the momentum going!!
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1908: What do you plan after Austria has gone?
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1908: Well...we can draw. or more realistically,
we can both go after turkey, with his six centers you are certain to win.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: Something about that plan I don't much like.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: Can't put my finger on it though.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: Hey, I don't mind not going after turkey...and calling it a draw.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: I wouldn't say it is completely cut & dried. Turkey can stalemate Russia out of 4 centers and I presume France is taking Ven, so Germany can only get to 17 centers unless he either attacks France or France helps him attack Turkey. Barring that, either of you could win and I think France has the stronger position.

Now I joined this game from a CD in lousy position and consider it a success just to finish the game. I'd rather see the game go on to a true winner than call an unnecessary draw, but its your game and whatever you two decide I will go along with.

I'd appreciate knowing before the turn processes though.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: I think Turkey probably has the best position now given that
both france and germany considers turkey less of a threat than
one another. I for one am willing to donate centers to Germany for the
win. I am tired of this game, not because of the back stabbing but
there is too much multi-games-manship on this site that ruins
the experience. So I am just here to finish this game up.
Faster the ending the better (without making it unfair of course).
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: I came into this game after Germany went into CD and had a good alliance with both of you. It would be nice to complete the game to the end, and hence win or stalemate. Plus the pot is only 68 so no great loss to anyone except for the prestige of the win.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: So lets all go for it and may the best German win!
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: oops..I meant man
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: I'd just like to point out that France's analysis is completely wrongheaded. Turkey is weak, pitiable, and absolutely no threat to anyone. Really. Honest.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1909: But we are taking applications for ally.
15 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1909: For the Prestige! BTW, a pretty good movie.
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1910: I assume we will have to wait now for an Austrian retreat, but not in the future. Want to make an appointment tomorrow or Sunday when we can all be at the computers at the same time and wrap this puppy up?
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1910: Nevermind. I see he submitted. If Germany is still here, I will be at my computer for the next 30 minutes or so.
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1910: I will be online tomorrow from about 4pm GMT...shouldnt take long for you two to squeeze me dry =)
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'll probably be getting on for a duration sometime around 4-6pm GMT, with maybe short drop-ins earlier than that. Good game, but yeah, I think France has got you.
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: I see we are all on now. I will be around for the next 3 hours or so if we want to wrap this game. I may have to leave for 10-20 minute periods once or twice though.
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: I will be here for the next 2 hrs or so
16 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1912: bugger, finalised moves by mistake!
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1912: not that it would have helped that much
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1912: Well it sure didn't help me.
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1912: Sorry!
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1912: OK. I'm getting giddy. Someone please kill the game or me.
16 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1913: one more turn guys...the end is near...gg.
17 Aug 08 UTC Good game guys - see you next time.
