welcome Germany
13 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: For Austria, the question is not longer, "Can I survive?" but "How long can I hold out for?" Doubtless, a 3-way alliance (with Russia and Turkey metagaming) against Austria cannot fail. The only way to stop the Russia's or Italy's inevitable steamroller to victory is for the western triangle to stop fighting amongst themselves and fight back against the east.

Some time I ago I felt like placing the blame on Russia and Turkey, the metagamers. But now, I do not. I would have most likely been defeated had just two countries invaded me rather than the three that currently do. I would have felt a moment of anger from the Italian stab, but I would have recovered from my emotions and moved on. As for the metagamers, I feel that Turkey and Russia have trusted each other more than any normal diplomatic relationship does. I know for a fact that they've been discussing moves together in person and in real life.

I do not wish to see Russia and Turkey banned from this site. I also do not wish the game to be drawn or canceled. What I want to see is an alliance against these metagamers. I don't care about the points. I only want to see Russia and Turkey defeated.

If you do not want to listen to my advice, you will inevitably find yourself facing a Russian steamroller in the near future. Once the last Austrian supply center has been gobbled up, Russia will most definitely turn its expansive eyes towards Turkey. There is nowhere else for the bear to go. Italy is too far, and the terrain provides a difficult situation to work with its current ally, Turkey. Germany and England have blocked off Scandinavia, which, with the current placement of units, is likely to remain deadlocked for years.

After Turkey is defeated with help from Italy, Russia has two options: attack Germany (if France has not defeated the Kaiser by then), or take a stab at Italy. Or perhaps, Russia will assault both. Russia doesn't need to advance much farther than Trieste or Munich to secure 18 supply centers.

In the event that Turkey and Italy ally against Russia, and Russia falls, Italy will emerge from the east as the victor as long as France leaves the Italian unchecked. Turkey's supply centers in Russia and the Balkans will be surrounded by Italian troops, and I do not see a reason why the Italian wouldn't stab a boxed-in player. They will be unable to cooperate in the Mediterranean, and there's no way they could maneuver against Germany effectively.

I do not see Turkey able to win this game without western help. Either Russia or Italy will conquer the east and gain those crucial 18 supply centers. There will most likely be limited opposition from the western triangle, whose constant bickering has retarded all three countries' growth. If only France turns east instead of weakening Germany and England, who have the potential to check Russian power if they were unmolested along their French borders, will the Russian/Italian victory be stoppable. However, I do not see France as an immediately trustworthy ally. Be wary when France offers a ceasefire. Don't keep your supply centers unguarded. Always know that France will stab England or Germany unless the Frechman builds up a Mediterranean fleet. And by the looks of the current map, France is interested only in convoying to England and seizing German supply centers. I doubt France has peaceful intentions with A Par-Bur. I hope that France may one day see the gravity of the situation and realize this isn't Points-Per-Supply-Center. This game is WINNER-TAKES-ALL. France may have 10 western centers, but he will receive 0 points from the outcome of this game unless he changes his ways.

You, the western triangle, must be united against all opposition. Only together shall you succeed. Only together shall you triumph. Only together shall you overcome the eastern steamroller.

I wish many of you the best of luck in your endeavors. The others, I wish only the opposite.
13 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: If you find my speech a tl;dr, just know these two points:
1. A Russian/Italian victory is inevitable under the current conditions.
2. In order to stop the steamroller, the Western Triangle must stop fighting and unite against the eastern powers.
13 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Austria, I'm glad you take this game serious enough to write an essay about it. However, as for the metagaming accusation - I do not metagame. Yes, I have discussed the progress of the game outside this website, but all my strategy and diplomacy have taken place within these chat boxes.
14 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: If you have talked about this game outside of the website, as you just admitted, how do we know that you didn't participate with sharing of countries/strategy and either way on if you actually did or not, we still have the right to stop the steamroll that we are fairly certain will be happening.
20 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Oh, it looks like I missed a turn...
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: GG, lol
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: We should draw when Turkey CDs
07 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Sigh, I guess this is what you get for missing one phase...
08 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: I have one request before this game ends, finish off Russia, please.
10 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: I have one request as well. Take as much of Germany as you can, before the others do so!
10 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well I've already accepted that I've lost, I just want them to finish what Italy, Austria, and my own country have started.
11 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: sorry i didn't move the last turns i was alive. i had a trip and i couldn't reach the game
I was done anyway but i don't like quitting.
