28 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: These turkeys are homicidal, and bent on revenge.
28 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Are you man-eating turkeys??
28 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: And, revenge for what?? In a show of supreme submission, I left four (4) dots open to your forces this turn. I'm starting to feel like Fernando the Matador, only with a Turkey instead of a bull. ;-) But... getting gored by a bull is quicker and more merciful than being pecked to death by homicidal, revenge-minded turkeys, for sure. *sigh*
28 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: And... where's the kidnapped Hungarian princeling, and what are you doing to him???????
28 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Finally... have you ever heard of a turducken??
30 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Ok, back in town. I was lucky and the hotel I was staying at did have internet access, so I was able to put in the move last turn. Thanks everyone for voting pause anyway.

Oh, and yes Italy, I have heard of a turducken. It's amazing!
30 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Welcome back! Let's not tell the Sultan how turduckens are made, though. *Ahem*
30 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Looks like Russian and Turkish moves are in. Anybody have a problem with that??
01 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: JUGGERNAUT!!!!!!!
02 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: That was close.
02 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: ¡Olé! Ay yi yi, the Italian Matador has been grazed by the bull/turkey/turducken. A hush comes over the crowd....
05 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1906: Turkey wants a pause. Can everyone go along with that? I've voted.
05 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1906: He probably needs the time to look up "turducken." lol
05 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: NEWS FLASH: Turkish mob overruns Russian embassy in Vienna, captures Russian and visiting foreign diplomats, and proceeds to stuff them with boneless roast duck and baked chicken while repeatedly questioning them about what a "turducken" is.
05 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Talk! Talk! Dammit, WHAT IS ZE 'TURDUCKEN'!?!
05 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: You'll never make me talk! Ow, ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow--OK. "A turducken is a dish consisting of a de-boned chicken stuffed into a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed into a de-boned turkey. The word turducken is a portmanteau of turkey, duck, and chicken or hen." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turducken
06 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: LIEZ, you think you knoW PAIN! THinK Againz.. Whip/bam/lick.
06 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ow-ow-ow-ow, OK, it's whatever you want it to be!!! Just don't peck me to death!!!
07 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: The bells of treason are ringing
Whose hands made them swing?
Sweet France, Proud Albion,
And we loved them.

09 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1907: NEWS FLASH--(Reuters): French archaelogists find remains of an ancient French Turducken farm complex in Tunis, appeal to French military for protection against occupying Turk army. It is rumored that in an attempt to erase all signs of the ancient French facility, Turkish officials are attempting to mine the complex even as they make plans to evacuate.
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Alrighty, I'll cut Apulia then. What are you going to do with Piedmont?
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Watch out, I think someone may be listening in on our party line...! lol
17 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: NEWSFLASH - Communication lines cut between western and eastern Europe... armed units are accompanying technicians to the front lines to determine the cause and fix the problem.
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: That would be extremely convenient if France cd'ed...
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Bite your tongue!
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: No such luck, Turkey.
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: whoo-hoo!!! :-)
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: For shame !
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Gobble-gobble-gobble! Gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble! :-)
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'm having a slice of guacolote alla bologna for dessert tonight--although I may end up eating crow later. ;-)
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: *Whew* :-)
23 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Turks thrown out of Tyrolia; Sultan orders retreat to Vienna, plans to sack city, starting with the pastries.
23 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Someone please finish this game...
23 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: The faster we get our moves in, the faster we'll be done.
24 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas Eve and a merry Christmas--totally apart from what we are trying to do to each other in the game. ;-)
31 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: I also wish you each a very happy and successful 2011!
01 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1910: Ahh.. thought at the beginning of this game that it was going to go well for me. Well played everyone.
04 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1911: I'm curious how Trieste fell. If Budapest supported Albania to Trieste; while both Vienna and Trieste cut support.. oh I see Tyrolia was supported into Trieste.

Good moves all.
04 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1911: It was just a good guess.
04 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1911: Yeah, sometimes it's hard to see what happened w/ all the arrows.
04 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1911: I mean the good moves--we guessed right is all.
07 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1912: Dur, right.
12 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1914: http://ddhr.org/2006/06/13/zeeba-neighba/
The message: Deer Zeeba, You is valued neighba! Thanks for being you!
The "sublibabal" message: Run outside! Pour steak sauce on head! Kill self!
12 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1914: If you're going to be lame; and split all the centers 3 ways; at least tell me.
12 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1914: Check out the URL. lol
12 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1914: Vassals, minions, toadies--we are just along for the ride. I can't see France sharing the win. But I would predict that you survive this game, 'cause we're too lazy to dig you all the way out. lol.
13 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1914: Exactly.
16 Jan 11 UTC Breaking News-- British announce that captured German and Russian scientists who were ostensibly working on convoys were instead working on a top secret project developing transporter devices. Preliminary reports are that they wok great but with one imperfection. The volunteer unit of the French army that used the transporter came through as exact mirror images of themselves before the transport, including the lettering on insignia.
