23 Feb 21 UTC	Gg everyone. I mismoved somewhere along the line to give the solo game away. Should have taken Turkey out properly first and ended up too stretched to seal the lines. Also, you all worked effectively together to push me back.
23 Feb 21 UTC	Is Germany the most difficult country to play? I got squashed pretty quick this game. But Russia fell as well in the effort.
23 Feb 21 UTC	yes the Lepanto opening from Italy/Austria limited my options, was surprised that i survived that and then to get an army out into the wild ensured I stayed in for the draw. Good game Austria, almost the solo and well played everyone else for banding together, too often at this stage you see powers still attacking each other
23 Feb 21 UTC	@Germany - i think Austria is usually the hardest country to play. But i think they are all a bit harder with no messaging. Have to be very clear with your moves/intentions to get an ally on board early in Gunboat games
23 Feb 21 UTC	And I’ve seen Russia attacking Germany straight from the off a few times and never seen it pay off. Russia has to focus on the southeast and the very north to survive. Going through the centre is tempting but usually futile.
23 Feb 21 UTC	Just found my mid move in Autumn 1906. I was considering a full assault on Italy by taking Venice and then thought better of it but neglected to change the Fle AEG to ION move back. So I tipped Italy off and had to follow up. I might have got away with removing Turkey while Italy carried on attacking France and solo might have been more in reach.
