31 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 2002: [Frozen-Antarctica]:is there any way to leave a game?
31 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 2002: [Argentina]:No.
01 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2002: [South-Africa]:ive joined as south africa. i will not respond to old messages send me something if you want to discuss
05 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2004: [Europe]:is there any possibility of a pause?
05 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2004: [Argentina]:I would be down for a pause for this weekend.
07 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2004: [USA]:If my ally wishes for a pause, I will oblige, but it will be difficult to unpause the game.
07 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2004: [USA]:OMG, Ghana is still alive?!?
15 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Argentina]:Who's down for a 19 way draw?
15 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Pacific-Russia]:ME! please, pretty please!
15 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Russia]:I'll vote for a draw. :P
16 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2007: [USA]:Hmm... A draw is beginning to look more appealing than a drawn out fight...
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Argentina]:Sorry everyone, I spent yesterday traveling and missed the deadline.

Let's wrap this thing up once and for all.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Argentina]:After West Siberia and Bombay are wiped out, we'll just require next year to eliminate Australia and South Africa. Then we can end this game and everyone gets 48 points and a pat on the back for a job well done.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:someone stab argentina, please
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:Yeah your an ass.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Pacific-Russia]:If the USA & Europe work together they can take out Argentina easy peasy.
Why are they waiting?
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Argentina]:No, I didn't feel like sending the same press to five different parties, and it should be pretty obvious what's going on anyway.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Pacific-Russia]:Getting nervous are we ?
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:Because, Argentina is my ally. I am not going to take him out Pacific Russia. And in the event Europe tries, I am sorry Europe, but I would have to side with Argentina.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Pacific-Russia]:Pathetic!!!! You play to win!!! That is the aim of the game!!!
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:You play to win? Something you obviously didn't do otherwise you wouldn't have just one SC while I sit up here laveshly with my 19, or like Europe and his 15, or Libya and his 16, or Argentina and his 13, even China and his 14! No, you have one, and you have had one for a long time. You have earned no respect to tell us to betray him! I only wish you had more SCs so I could take them from you, but I will relish that need with the fact that you will not be apart of this draw!
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:your an ass. and you always play to win and my record in games speaks for me compared to your bitch ass record
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:I am not going to explain my story, but you got your asses kicked! Shut the hell up! Less QQ more Pew-Pew, next time!
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:I repeat, please someone stab him!
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:WE AREN'T GOING TO STAB HIM! IF ANYONE STABS ANYONE, WE JUST RETURN TO THE STALEMATE WE HAD BEFORE! NOW SMALLER WEAKER NATIONS, PLEASE STOP WHINING! YOU LOST, COPE! IT HAPPENS!
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:lol look he thinks he is good. its so cute.

its also cute he thinks he stalemated the board
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:I can safely say I haven't "lost" anything, I only just joined the game, but the whole point of this game is to stab and win, if your too chicken to do that then your not a very good player, imho
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:Centurion1, I think it is so cute that you think you have been playing this game longer than I have! I love it when they think their words still hold value to the game! Stalemating a board is easy. Pretty much, just flood and ocean with ships and support hold like crazy! And with 5 builds, that shouldn't be too hard. Now look, you obviously have some bizarre anger management problem, I mean, Argentina kicks your ass down south, so you just completely give up on holding your mainland just to spite him? What are you 10?
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Pacific-Russia]:Amazingly USA has played & competed 14 games & still without a single win & holds the rank of political puppet.Wow, I wonder why?
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:Actually that is not true. The point of the game is not to stab and win. The point of the game is to win by any means. If I stab Argentina, and Europe joins me. Then we still have Libya. Well Libya is more allied with Europe, and that screws me because if Europe stabs me I am out of a partner. And I know China has been wanting me out of the Pacific for quite some time now, so I am sure he will join in. So where does stabbing Argentina help me in the long term... It doesn't. But this draw helps all parties involved. So, would you guys just go find another game to troll. (And Oz, I am quite aware you haven't lost yet, but you are on the road. It will take an awful lot of strategy and China and I giving up to turn the situation in the Pacific in your favour.)
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:at least i didnt cd in my last game i played with you. you did.

your an idiot if you believe you can stalemate in your current position

you suck at this game.

i am better than you.

get over it.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Pacific-Russia]:Sorry, That was unfair & uncalled for. I apolgise to all, sorry.
I hate it when things are taken personally & I try never to do it as it is wrong, but I have had a bad day, So once again Sorry.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:Actually, Pacific Russia. IRL, I hold 18/58 Victories to my name, 8/58 Draws, 25/58 Surviveds, and 7/58 Defeateds. (I have a score sheet in my computer room), also this is my second account, first of which got banned durring the Great Multiaccounter Witch Trials of 2008-2009. What I learned, never tell your brother about the game when you only share one computer between you... It looks suspicious.
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:as am i no doubt i was beaten fair and square.

ftr though i did join this game after someone resigned
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:Thank you PR, it is okay. And South Africa, atleast I decided paying my bills was more important than getting my internet fixed??? Okay, sure! The reason I have the shear amount of defeats I do is because I didn't repair my internet. I am fine with that because I play the game because I enjoy it; not because I want to be some stuck-up, obsessed prick who has wet dreams about his W/D Spread. Centurion, I may have acctually cared about what you said... If you were in a position to say things like that... But your not so life is beautiful! (Except for the cancelation of the Lovefestival due to the tragedy of this years... That was not beautiful)
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:i play on dialup and a phone with two bars........
21 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [USA]:Thank you, as am I sorry.
22 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Europe]:There must have been a whole lot of conversation earlier that I'm not aware of. For my two cents, the board isn't stalemated, but the slugfest that it would require to break anyone's hold probably isn't worth it.
22 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [South-Africa]:Ok look I'm out for the week and I am not going to make y'all pause for me. So make sure before you draw I'm defeated. Not just resigned. Appreciate it thanks
22 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Argentina]:Well that was totally uncalled for.

Sometimes the best players get a bad beat. On a different website I once single-handedly knocked out the third highest rated player on the site because he made a bad tactical call early on, gambled, and I won the gamble. It happens.

I'm going for the draw because I have to spend the next week in Sweden and don't feel like being seven time zones off and dealing with work stuff AND balancing this game. I would love to play for the solo, but for none of the powers involved is that realistic, so a five way draw between the five remaining major powers is a totally reasonable ending of the game. If you think I'm an ass for accepting a five way draw, then you're not playing the game right. Sometimes you look at the board and say "Alright, I could get a solo, but more likely I try and get eliminated. But the same thing is true for four other powers. Let's all take that as a draw and move on to the next game." That's part of the beauty of this game, nobody HAS to win if enough powers agree to a draw.

So now, let's move on and be done with this game so maybe South Africa can solo his next game and I can get wiped out early.
22 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Pacific-Russia]:Great idea, I have voted for the draw, any chance?
23 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2010: [USA]:Okay, I think Libya is the only one who hasn't agreed to draw. Can we discuss the situation at hand?
23 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2010: [Europe]:No rush, we have another year to do anyway.
23 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2010: [Argentina]:Libya seems reticent to trust me, as I can understand since I'm sitting in Chad right now.

That said, I would very much so like to see this game come to an end this year.
23 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2010: [Libya]:USA: I have agreed. Look that I have not attacked Argentina even when that red menace threatens my homeland ...
And sure I do not trust him/her.... does s/he ever given my any reason to trust ???
24 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:Goodbye cruel world & thanks for the game!
I had hope some kind gentleman would permit me to survive but NO! they could not keep their grubby little paws off of my lands.
Have fun & enjoy!!
25 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2011: [Argentina]:Apologies, my wifi connectivity has been dodgy the last few days. Set to draw, hope you all join me.
25 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2011: [Europe]:Hey USA, I've put in for the draw, but until you enter a "draw", I'll be attacking your territories. Besides, Godthab was one of those territories that you took from me a while back. Anyway, just concede the draw and we're done.
25 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2011: [Russia]:Greenland is clearly Russian territory.
26 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2011: [Europe]:No, Turkmestan is Russian territorty. The Russian freedom fighters have retained control.
