It was a mistake to go to Fin I think, but I was 90% sure you would hold Stp there, I would probably hold Stp there as well, it's by far the more idiomatic move, and just retreat it where it needs to go when dislodged. Supporting into Stp there is a mistake for Austria but the French position was pretty much finished unless Austria would make a mistake like that, so France has not many options and even fewer good ones.
