17 Oct 20 UTC gg no sense in playing it out
17 Oct 20 UTC I entered orders but NMR'd anyways - sorry for delaying it then, haha
17 Oct 20 UTC Austria 1907 redirection against Germany was quite...dramatic.
17 Oct 20 UTC I probably should have attacked Rumania with a force of 2 in Autumn 1906, even if for no reason other than to deny the center to the Sultan.
17 Oct 20 UTC lol, yeah it was a little drastic but I was fearful of a German just straight runaway win and thought you (italy) could mitigate the turkish expansion by taking some of my centers
17 Oct 20 UTC Here's my two cents for you, Austria.

Rewind to Spring 1907. As a minor power in the midgame, you shouldn't be fearful of a solo threat on the opposite side of the stalemate line. In fact, you should celebrate it. Do everything you can to get yourself in a position where you're a critical part of the final draw, powering up the solo threat as much as necessary along the way. Holding Turkey at bay should have been your top priority. Attacking me would have been a reasonable alternate strategy given the opportunity. But Germany? No.
17 Oct 20 UTC Oh totally, honestly given the circumstances my only thought process was without the support from both sides, which I most likely would not have, Turkey would've taken my centers regardless. I had noticed a few seasons before that we had been squabbling over the Balkans while Germany seemed to be dismantling the west. So it was just my thought to try something interesting and try to steal away some of Germany's momentum. It failed miserably but for being a short gunboat I thought why not try it. Thanks for the tips though because you make very good points!
