27 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Aw, same countries as before. Good luck!
27 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck!
27 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ahh, different opening, I see :)
27 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yep.
28 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Nice one!
28 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Seems like you managed to get an advantage.
28 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Indeed...
28 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Let's see if I can recover from that blunder, if not, this would be a short game. lol.
28 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: It'll be tricky, but it's still very much possible. I tend to play out games until they're a guaranteed loss. There are some games that I thought were unwinnable that I sometimes have because of a bad move from my opponent, or a series of lucky guesses. It's not over till it's over, imo.

(Also if you never practice trying to get out of bad positions, you never will.)
28 Sep 20 UTC You are right about that.
28 Sep 20 UTC However, your victory was assured at this point. You will eventually take Moscow and get your fleet into Lvp reaching 18 SCs.
28 Sep 20 UTC Good game. You sure are a great player.
28 Sep 20 UTC I would love to go against you sometime again but I got a busy week coming up. Maybe then we can have a rematch.
28 Sep 20 UTC I have a lot of practice. On the other hand, I was really impressed by your first game! It was far closer than I would have expected from someone in their first 10 games.

I'm always down for a rematch! (Although, I too am pretty busy, so I tend to like 2- or 3-day phases to give some flexibility when needed.)

If I might offer a comment as to where I think you went wrong this game, it was sticking two armies into Italy. These matches tend to be won and lost over Tunis, Germany, and St.P (& sometimes Nwy). Those two armies in Italy were neither taking centres continuously nor doing anything to help you secure those critical spaces. As a result, you got behind on builds and essentially had no chance.
29 Sep 20 UTC Great. I will make a new game sometime today. I will send you the link and the password.
29 Sep 20 UTC Yeah. This opening strategy did give me a massive disadvantage since the beginning.
