26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: bye france i love you!
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: Don;t go!
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: Looks like we're gonna have 4 players soon
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: yep.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1905: austria hungary is a beast
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Trying to turn people against me?
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: :)
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: i love the paranoia
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: would anyone be up for a draw when france and russia are out?
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Crap missed my move
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: yeah
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Did France come back on?
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Apparently checked the progress of the game...
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thus making it even longer.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Heisenberg uncertainty principle
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1906: So you can determine a unit's orders or position, and never both at the same time?
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1906: I think a 3-way draw might be in the works.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1906: Sounds good to me.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Too bad Russia was a noob and Turkey had to leave. Then this game might've turned out alright.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Actually, I think it turned out okay on its own.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: But CDs are never good.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: At least you've taught me a lesson: Italy and Austria can never coexist in peace. Strange that the strategy articles say that Italy and Austria are the perfect alliance, but I've never played a game where this combination has prospered.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: ive played one when austria and italy have prospered, but tis never lasted
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Oh I dunno.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well it was a bit imbalanced (my +2 from Turkey, then Austria's +4 from Russia/Turkey). Too bad these live games always get leavers.

I'll admit that I'm a newb at Diplomacy, and I'm screwed.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: DAMN LOOK AT DEM LINES
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: finalize please germany
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well, if you want some tips---
I believe that no nation is exclusively naval or a land power-not even Austria.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1907: i have 3 armies and 5 fleets.
you have 8 armies and no fleets.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Austria, correct, but some are more suited to one element or the other. And this game, England has been more of a naval power rather than a land power like you have been.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: And Austria, if I was you, I wouldn't have stabbed Italy. Rather, I would have teamed to fight England and Germany. Of course, I tend to stick with alliances once they're cemented, but I'm becoming more paranoid as I play Diplomacy. You'll probably end up in a three-way draw anyway. I don't matter.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: As England, I would have attacked Germany with help from Austria and Italy if I could. As Germany, I would most definitely die, as I would attack Austria but England would flank me. There's no way Germany can build up a fleet in this situation without arousing suspicion from England.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Now I ask you all a question: What could I have done to prevent this 3-on-1 situation from happening to me? What could I have done (even way earlier in the game, specific moves) that could have helped me survive longer/win?
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: I noramlly would have betrayed germany (no offense), but i think this alliance has worked very well for both of us. It has been more cordial and freindly than usual. We've stayed even somehow, helped each other.
Shocking for this game.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: I would say Italy, don't stab Austria from the beginning.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Really? Perhaps a better diplomatic approach might be better. Honestly, I haven't played as any country more than four times. I've got a lot to learn.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I am in fact strained by time now.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Yeah. The reason of fighting between I and A
is usually because someone stabbed the other early on.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: It's an easy mistake to fall into, especially for I, who has little other avenues of growth.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: i love that you still have no fleets :)
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1909: I'm thinking we may have to draw this one.
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: once italy is out
26 Jun 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: How nice...
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1910: So lets hurry this up so we can go on with our lives.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Well, I think it's over. I don't care about points, I just need enough to play a live game every now and then.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Good Game Italy.
26 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1910: HOpe he didn't leave
26 Jun 10 UTC gg all
26 Jun 10 UTC Certainly.
26 Jun 10 UTC bye
