Autumn, 1901: Greetings too
Autumn, 1901: Where are in the world? I'm in London.
Autumn, 1901: *you | |
Autumn, 1901: I am in the United States. (Montana)
Spring, 1902: Nice one. Just been reading about Montana on Wikipedia. Not many people in a lot of land.
Spring, 1902: This is very true. It is mostly mountains and ranches. I can not imagine being in a city as large as London right now with everything going on.
Autumn, 1902: To be accurate, I live in a town of about 5,000 people which is 25 miles to the NW of London. I have been in the centre of London once in the last 5 months.
Autumn, 1902: Okay. I am honestly surprised that there are towns that small so close to the city. I am in a city of just under 50,000 people here in Montana. It is the 4th largest city in the state though, and the largest city is Billings at right around 100,000.
Autumn, 1903: There are a lot of similar sized towns around London, often with just a few miles of fields / green space between them. I can see it's very different to you.
Autumn, 1903: That is interesting. The city I am in is rather large for out here. But it is the only real city for about 150-200 miles in any direction aside from small farming towns or ski resorts.
Autumn, 1904: Just checked out how many people live here. In 2011, last statistics, it was actually 12,000. Probably with all the house building, now closer to 15,000. It will be interesting to see the degree to which people will want to move out of the larger cities dependent on mass transit.
Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1904: Sorry, I fell asleep before I could get my orders in. My bad And that is interesting about mass transit because mass transit is terrible here. I don't think that I know anyone over 16 years old who does not drive. |
|
Autumn, 1904: No problem about the orders.
GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
