Spring, 1901: Hey Turkey
Spring, 1901: Can you play?
Spring, 1901: Oh he’s not talking to y’all either?
Spring, 1901: I'm playing!
Spring, 1902: I just did some research and have a strong suspicion that gonchik and Rasim is the same person. Both accounts joined Diplomacy just a few days ago on the same exact day, June 24, and both users are in multiple games together. It explains why the firs few message from Italy to me were worded as if they were Austria - because they are literally the same person. It is disappointing to see someone cheat and use two accounts in an effort to try and win. I would propose we vote for a draw or all five team up against them. Message Germany your thoughts and I'll let the others know what was decided.
Spring, 1902: Also for the record, Italy and Austria always completes their moves at the same exact time.
Spring, 1902: Lol no we are just siblings
Spring, 1902: But props to you for the brilliant investigation
Spring, 1902: I propose everyone checks the site rules 2 & 5.
Spring, 1902: Dang had no idea about number 5. Thanks England.
Spring, 1902: Neither did I till I checked just now ;)
Spring, 1902: Just siblings is enough to break rule 2, and by Germany's account you two are pretty much moving accordingly. So let's disconsider his suggestion and just report this as meta-gaming. Sucks to be in this situation and I hope the family players learn not to screw things up next time.
Spring, 1902: Ok we didnt know the rules
Spring, 1902: Do what you want
Spring, 1902: We all know the situation now which ticks the continue box for me. Should've been mentioned somehow at the start. There's still a lot of legs left in this game. I'm happy to play on.
Spring, 1902: I've already contacted the admin, this game is probably going to be erased. I'd play if they were siblings or whatever but weren't meta-gaming which is clearly happening, just look at their borders so early on.
Spring, 1902: Fair enough though I see an Italy that has messed up, could be part of the meta plan. Shame I hardly get Belgium when I'm England ;) |
|
Spring, 1902: There was no meta plan really. We thought we'd start out as allies and see where it takes us. I don't see how this is any different from PMing the country. It's just easier to communicate IRL
Spring, 1902: Proceed as you like. And again apologies for not playing by the rules.
Spring, 1902: If anyone needs another game to join feel free to join Starting out-3, just 2 more players needed
Spring, 1902: Lol - only have 4 coins, good luck
Spring, 1902: Just vote for a draw and end the game.
Spring, 1902: Makes sense
So waiting for Turkey? |
